The service promised sounded great but the reality was very different after just 4 days on the market the estate agents lost interest and were turning away potential viewers using several excuses that were untrue. The marketing of our property was average.

The few viewings that they did carry out for us were done with the blinds and doors closed arriving at the same time as the viewer. No preparation of the house was done prior to the viewing.

The house we sold was very sought after in a great area and all of a sudden the viewing requests stopped after day 8 on the market.

We did not feel that the advice we were given on the sale of our property was acting in our best interest we always felt that they were more interested in representing our buyer who was a fellow solicitor.

As for the purchase of our new property they advised us that they don’t check the particulars of the purchase they only do it on behalf of the person purchasing your house which seems very strange to me as we were the ones paying to sell and to purchase. We moved in to our new property only to discover a condemned boiler on day 2 that was 30 years old we had never been advised of this and pursued a claim that failed as we were told that the seller had decided to stop communication and would not be taking responsibility as per the law. Again we felt we were not represented and now have to foot the bill for a new boiler too!

I would rate the Westhill office 4/10 for service.

Maybe it just depends on who wants to buy your house at the end of the day and who you are dealing with!

My wife and I needed to complete 'Power of Attorney' for each of us. Samantha fully explained, in clear jargon free language, the detail of the requirements and how the POA works. The fees for both POAs were also provided.

We never felt rushed and both my wife and I felt far more wiser after the initial face-to-face meeting.

In due course we received full drafts of the POA documents, with a final meeting at Aberdein Considine office to sign the final documents.

I can't put into words how wonderful the staff at Aberdein Considine Westhill have been at selling my property. All the girls in the office couldn't have done enough. Sarah, Samantha, Gillian, Tessa, Amy, Val and my wee friend Morgan who had the patience of a saint with me. From start to finish they informed me of viewings, offers and the final sale. Only thing that I would suggest maybe be tweeked would be the fact that there is no out of office phone number to call should someone make an appointment to view and then be unable to attend. This only happened once to us on the Sunday but there was no way for them to let anyone know or no way for me to find out if they were coming or not.
I highly recommend Aberdein Considine if selling your house, you won't be disappointed! Big thank you to you all !
