I was having issues with getting my lancing device to puncture the skin so I contacted customer service. I don't usually leave reviews, but the way they handled this exceeded my expectations. They actually sent me a whole new monitor, lancing device, and test strips which I was not even expecting! They asked me to send back my old supplies so that they could investigate the issue further as well. I am very pleased with how this was handled. Thank you to the wonderful customer service team!

The Glucometer does not work but they do not give your whole money back do not do not buy anything from this pirates

I have been a type-2 diabetic for 10 years now. I finally found a meter that I love using! It is as if they listened to the complaints of users and developed a blood glucose meter and software to answer the needs of diabetics. I love the Bluetooth feature so I don't need to log my results on pieces of paper or apps. MySugr does it all for you. The lancet is great and I barely feel the prick on my fingers. The display is large and readings are quick. I did not like the bag that they provided for carrying my kit, so I adapted one from another meter.

The app is major feature for me. In addition to having it automatically show my blood sugar, I use it to record weight, blood pressure, food I have had all day and one if the best features is that after enough readings, it displays your estimated A1c! This has been a great way of encouraging me to eat better and see results over shorter periods of time.

Overall, I would say this is a high quality product and software combination.

Finally, a blood glucose monitor that I don't dread using.

I write enough BAD reviews, so I thought I'd write one for a company that has done right for me. I got a FREE meter off their site and my Dr. gave it the go-ahead with a script. WOW! It is so much more advanced and easier to use that my previous meters (I tried a few brands). PLUS, the test strips seem to cost about 50% less that others.

To be honest, I HATED it at first. I went through 10 test strips and only got 4 readings. Luckily I calmed down, called support and they explained how to not waste test strips. See, I was going straight at my drop of blood. NO NO NO!. They explained I should use the CORNER, and watch as it gets sucked in like a straw. Works AMAZING now that I know the trick.

Anyways, I love it now. And I love the App for it too! I take a reading and that reading is sent to my phone immediately via Bluetooth. SO much better than my old, archaic meter. And ANOTHER plus is I was amazed at how quickly support responded when I contacted them :) Thanks Accu-Chek! You've made my life so much easier with this meter!

The lancet device for this product has high chances of causing injury to the end users as there is limited guide on how to fix the lancet on its device.
There is also no guide on how to eject the used lancet from the lancet device.
This exposes new users to trying to use their hand to remove the lancet from the device.
There is also no color coding to further elicit more information on the user's guide.
