Decided to take advantage of the ACDSee 2026 Ultimate sale and unfortunately it was a cake not fully baked. Very buggy software, kept crashing so much that it became usable. Reached out to Support who... See more

I'm still waiting for RAW support for the DJI Mavic 4 Pro. I can't understand why it always takes so long to add, in this case DJI's flagship, to the supported RAW files. I understand it can take so... See more

do -NOT- trust this company!
Do -NOT- trust this company with your money. Since the beginning (from versions 1.x) the program crashes on certain collections of pictures. And not fixed in 2022
No fix either in 2024 for turning off external HDD (1 out of 2) every time I press to edit a photo!
My HDD turns on and off 40 times when editing several photos.
They are 4 and 10 terabyte. Losing them is nothing short of a disaster on important data I cannot backup because it's too much.

The worst thing is that every time you reinstall Windows the program will tell you that you are registered to too many machines.
========================================
==> the e-mail response to that was that I could buy a new version <==
So everytime you reinstall your OS the only solution is to buy a newer version. Or it will nag you with messages, freezing, very slow etc
THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY
I am already proud to PAY for a program and I get treated like this just because I only make so little a month that I CANNOT buy an upgrade.
It's good for picture viewing that's it...but expensive for this!
It's good for picture viewing, and limited editing.
Many function is missing from editing, win 10 compatibility is not perfect. (moving program windows slow, no hardware settings)
Buggy Software & Terrible Customer Service
Terrible customer service and ACDSee Photo Studio for Mac wasn’t much better either…
I purchased ACDSee 2021 software which didn’t work properly & kept crashing on MacOS Big Sur. As I purchased it just before the 2022 version came out, I enquired about a free upgrade or at least some help towards an upgrade, but they just ignored my questions and sent standard replies.
In such circumstances, most decent software companies give a free upgrade or at least a discount towards the new version to keep you as a customer. But they just couldn’t care less.
I’m now left with buggy outdated Mac photo software that only had a lifetime of a few months and cost £50. Buyer Beware!
lot's of spam and bad offers
I use ACDSee Photo since the beginning and it's a good program to manage your photos. The last years ACDSee (the company) changed to be a bad one because I get every day spam mails and I can't sign of off there spaming because they will send further spam mails. All this spam have the same content: "by our super offer, it's only today...." send from there CEO. I don't now but if an CEO has nothing better to do than sending spam mails... As a costumer I have some ideas what he can do to make their programs a lot better if he has tediousness.
In the beginning I bought ACDSee (Ulktimate since there is an Ultimate package) every year but now I must say it's enough to buy it every few years. The includings in the package are not really so good and the price is much higher than in the first years.
If there was not this spaming and it would only be about ACDSee Photo Studio I would give them 4 *
Update:
It's not even impossible to sign off ther spam mails, ACDSEE is using lots of different Email Adresses so it's not possible to block there mail. That's really bad spam.
Randomly started sending spam emails
Randomly started sending spam emails, I am not a customer of this company nor would I ever consider buying their product. Shady businesses need to be called out on sending unsollicited email this so you get one star.
very good photo and video editing…
very good photo and video editing company, the have been around a long time, their software has tons of options, and they are only surpassed, by the giant Adobe. and there sofware is a lot cheaper. than Adobe.
