THIS IS THEFT / FRAUD - AVOID.
A month after my policy started, they reviewed the driving license information I had provided them and emailed me and text me saying my policy will be cancelled in 7 days. I immediately got on the phone and had to spend over 35 minutes on the phone with them. They explained that the reason my policy was cancelled is because there was an EXPIRED conviction (over 3 years old) they were not told about during the application process. Even though the conviction was expired - they still said that they will need to cancel as it has gone above their risk profile.
NOT ONLY THAT. I actually probably would've been okay with that. It's an inconvenience and time waste. But it isn't thieving....or is it?
Stephen from customer services then went on to explain that £100 will be deducted from my refund. WHAT? What gives them the right to deduct £100? Was it only their time that was used here? My time was wasted too. How on earth can they justify deducting £100? Not fair at all, not just at all. Just be a fair company and deal with your people fairly. I'm not asking to reverse the cancellation - but at least proceed with it honourably.

I understand that you thought you did not need to disclose your motoring conviction since it was over three years old, and you also believe the comparison site you used should have prompted you for further details.
However, when completing online quotations, the full set of questions specifies that you must disclose motoring convictions within the last five years.
As a gesture of goodwill, I have reduced our cancellation fee.

The wait time in excess of 20 minutes which was pretty long to listen to the same hold music. But once answered was very easy to get what I needed and thank you.

Terrible
Terrible. Clicked start today on my insurance. Took out a provisional policy. Went on a lesson in my own car. Ended up causing a minor knock in someone else’s door and they then tell me the policy doesn’t start for another week even though I explicitly clicked start today the night before. Then cancelled my policy for their own mistake

I have used a choice before and came back
I have used a choice before and although there was another provider slightly cheaper I came back to a choice for someone that I knew , dealt with simply, smoothly and cost relative to requirements .

I have just passed my test as a 17 year…
I have just passed my test as a 17 year old and cancelled my learners insurance, which I only payed for for 2 months, and then receive a £85 cancellation fees which is ridiculous. Awful service would not recommend.
