Until the recent release, I was very happy with Acronis. In this latest release, I found that I was not able to delete older backups. I tried to have the schedule delete older backups and I kept getting error messages the backup disk was full. Consequently, I had to delete all backups and start fresh. I sent a report of this to Acronis over a week ago and to date, the company has not responded

I have been using this product for 10+ years. I have needed to use the restore feature several times, after a system crash and after building a new computer.

Their customer service is responsive and top notch. They have provided me with guidance and been very easy to work with.

I had a problem with a boot up on a Windows 10 computer the other night. I tried everything I could without using a Acronis and could not get the system to boot.

I had installed the Acronis option to load during the boot process, simply clicked F 11 and reinstalled my latest update back up and in about 10 minutes. I had the computer back running! I don’t think you can really ask for better than this.

I've been using acronis backup for decades first commercially now personally and one thing it's always done is bailed me out. I've never had a problem with backups and when I've had problems with computers I could always rely on its backups to get the computer up and running. This was imperative in the commercial world where I did computer controls. I also like personally being able to do these same backups whereas I made a few mistakes and Aconis was able to bail me out and get my computer back up and running 100% Acronis is one of the very few annual subscriptions I pay, because it's worth it

Simply put. The backup process works. Once regular backups are set up, they work as requested. They don’t use any fancy file types. If you need to access a backup then File Explorer works just fine. If you run out of backup space you will receive a warning in good time to delete older versions. Have been a user for several years after dumping a competitor’s product.

I am using Acronis since decades by now. I used in a business as well as in a private environment (Acronis True Image). It took less then half a day for a PC with over 1 TB of data on 2 SSD to completely restore booting from a rescue data stick. To back-up that data (operating system and all) takes me abt. 1h30. Very good and reliable product.

Has worked well over several years and several system disc failures.

Good tool for back ups .

I was asked to restore applications and data on a disk from a Windows 10 machine onto a new PC running Windows 11. We had a full backup stored on a NAS made with Acronis True Image. With help from Acronis tech support, we restored just the C: partition and moved all the old apps and all the customer's data to the new PC. She was absolutely delighted with the outcome.

The other protections are vague and I am not sure what they do.

Acronis is one of the more helpful softwares for computer users. It has the ability to protect you computer, save work in the Cloud, and easily clones a hard drive or program with ease. I highly recommend Acronis.
