Brilliant service

We were nervous before our son’s ADHD assessment, but Dr Kehinde was kind and reassuring not only to us as parents but most importantly to our son, from the outset.

Dr Kehinde listened intently to what we were telling her and was calm and compassionate to our us all. Dr Kehinde was extremely thorough and it was clear she really cared to give us the right diagnosis.

I would recommend Dr Kehinde without hesitation.

Overall a positive experience

Would have been 5 stars but I didn’t get an email I was promised on my first telephone enquiry. Once I had booked my assessment, communication with Dr Sani’s secretary was very good. At my assessment Dr Sani handled my nerves delicately and was able to get the information she needed to make a clear assessment.

Very poor support and communication

Very poor support and communication.
My daughter was diagnosed, after paying for an extra test, but the communication has been pitiful.

I wait ages, sometimes days, for someone to come back to me. When they do the support is minimal.

They kept sending the information to my daughter withough appreciating the fact that her ADHD means she forgets to take the actions she's been asked to take. When they didn't receive back what was expected there was no follow-up.

The information they send is very cut and paste, with no thought or appreciation for the issues faced.

I asked for for diagnosis so I could send it to her college because they need something on record. Instead of sending a simple letter, I was sent her entire diagnosic history, including sensitive information, which I cannot possibly send them. When I emailed back to explain that what they had sent was unsuitable I had no response.

We are still awaiting our meeting to discuss medication.

So, nothing to help her with the college support she needs, no medication.

It's a shambles and I wouldn't recommend.

Reply from The ADHD Centre

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate how frustrating and distressing this situation has been for you and your daughter.

We are sorry that the documentation previously sent did not meet your needs and that you did not receive a timely response when you raised this concern. This is not the standard of service we aim to provide, and we are reviewing this internally.

Regarding medication, we understand your concern about the delay in arranging a titration initiation appointment.

Medication initiation for ADHD involves of the prescribing of controlled drug medications and certain safe prescribing do need to be followed as per NICE guidelines.

We do offer free drop in study skills sessions for clients of the centre and we have provided information about this already after your daughter had her assessment.

Kind regards,
The ADHD Centre

Thorough, Patient and Kind

I was nervous going into my ADHD assessment but felt really supported throughout. Dr Parviz Bahadoran was extremely thorough and professional, but also kind and reassuring. He explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and noticed when I was feeling a bit overwhelmed. I came away feeling genuinely understood, optimistic, and in safe hands. Highly recommend.

Dr Mirza

Dr Mirza was professional and calming. He put me at ease and made the whole proccess feel like a relaxed chat. I felt able to be completely honest about all aspects of my life and why I was here without worring about any judgement.
It was a quick, smooth process and I look forward to continuing this journey.

Very satisfied with the assessment

Anya was very welcoming, put Zac (and us) at ease quite quickly, and managed a very tricky situation with sensitivity, patience and a warm understanding of the impact of his challenges and how this has made him feel and behave.

She had some very useful and settling insights about the condition, and made some astute observations a recommendations.

Downsides were very small waiting room and perhaps less than completely straightforward entry to the building.

We would recommend the centre to anyone we knew.

Forever grateful to Dr Kelleher & the team

I’ve been under the care of Dr M. Kelleher at the ADHD Centre for several years, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Dr Kelleher is personable, honest, and highly professional. He always explains things clearly and sensitively, even when the information is difficult to hear, and it’s obvious that he has his patients’ best interests at heart.
During some very challenging periods, Dr K and his team have been consistently responsive and supportive, often going above and beyond — including making time when appointments were fully booked and speaking with family members when needed. Their support has made an enormous difference, and I truly don’t think I would have managed as well without it.
I remain immensely grateful and highly recommend their care.

Dr Sani was clear and attentive and did…

Dr Sani was clear and attentive and did really well to keep me on track, as well as collating everything I said (however meandering) into something meaningful that allowed a diagnosis. The centre also did a very good job of ensuring I remembered all the pre-appointment forms and details. Really good experience.

Surprisingly cathartic!

Relatively simple to set up, good communication from The ADHD Centre in the run up. My assessment was conducted via Zoom by Dr Baljit Upadhya, and while I was worried in the run up she put me at ease and was genuinely lovely to talk to - I found the process incredibly cathartic! I would recommend.
