I did a combined lash course online

I did a combined lash course online. I have emailed alot and do not hear anything. I was asked to submit 1 more case and my money for the certificate which I did and asked for a update to which have heard nothing. When I wanted to send my money the account name was not matching so I emailed them to ask what the correct account name was and they managed to email me back straight away with that yet dont mail me back when asking how my case studies are and if I will get my certificate to be able to advertise. So frustrating

Avoid this academy at all cost!

⭐ 1 Star

Avoid this academy.

I enrolled on the Qualifi Level 4 Diploma in Aesthetic Procedures for Skin Rejuvenation and the associated First Aid qualification. My experience has been extremely disappointing and has resulted in significant delays, unnecessary expense and months of frustration.

I have been working in aesthetics for almost five years and am a fast and highly motivated learner. I completed my coursework promptly, completed my First Aid qualification, attended the practical training days and completed my final practical assessment on 1 December 2025.

Despite this, more than six months later I still do not have my qualification certificate.

Throughout the process I was repeatedly told that progress was dependent on Qualifi requirements and that certain stages could not be completed more quickly. However, the reality was that I spent months chasing the academy for updates, receiving conflicting explanations and being given timelines that later changed.

At various points I was told that my file was with the IQA, that the qualification would be submitted to Qualifi, and later provided with entirely different explanations regarding the status of my portfolio and certification claim.

Work that had already been submitted was later identified as outstanding. When I pointed out that it had already been completed, I was asked to provide additional written content beyond the original requirement, which I did immediately. Documents requiring my signature were only provided months later.

The academy's administration has been extremely poor throughout. There always seemed to be another delay, another explanation, another person involved, or another reason why progress had not been made.

What was most disappointing was the complete lack of meaningful learner support. The vast majority of the learning was self-directed. I largely taught myself the theory, completed the coursework independently and relied on my own research and experience. If I had been completely new to aesthetics, I believe I would have struggled significantly due to the limited support available.

I have invested substantial money, travel costs, accommodation costs, time and effort into obtaining this qualification. Instead of focusing on developing my business and progressing professionally, I have spent months chasing updates, escalating complaints and trying to obtain basic information about a qualification that should have been processed long ago.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this academy to anyone seeking a professional aesthetics qualification.

Prospective learners should obtain clear written confirmation regarding course delivery, assessment arrangements, support available, expected timescales and certification processes before committing their money.

I have now formally escalated my concerns to Qualifi regarding the academy's handling of my qualification and the repeated delays and conflicting information provided throughout the process. As the matter remains unresolved despite numerous attempts to obtain a resolution directly, I am also proceeding with legal action to recover my losses.
