Purchased an electric towel rail…

Purchased an electric towel rail through a leading plumbers merchant who I have traded with for nearly 30 years.
Two days in the chrome plating has split down both sides.
Still awaiting a reply from customer services to the plumbers merchant who buys products in bulk.
Extremely disappointed with a product that could harm someone.
This one is fitted in sheltered accommodation with health and safety paramount .
Look forward to a reply …..

Poor quality chromium plating on Vogue towel rail

I purchased a Vogue chromium plated "top of the range" heated towel rail. The first one had burrs poking through the plating which snagged towels and cut my finger. A replacement was sent by Vogue, but this had the same problem. Vogue then told me they could not supply anything better and that I should choose a painted one instead. I insisted on a chromium plated one and the company has just delivered one that is better, but still not acceptable. Vogue apparently has no-one in Customer Services this week!

Excellent customer service

We bought a radiator with lift up towel shelf 4 years ago. Recently the hydraulic arm which holds up the shelf failed so the shelf wouldn’t stay up.
I contacted Vogue by email on a bank holiday Monday evening and received a reply the next morning,Tuesday asking for our address.
A new arm arrived the next morning,Wednesday by recorded delivery.

Similar to other experiences

Similar to other experiences. We bought an expensive radiator from vogue and it cracked when being fixed. Despite being under warranty this was not honoured and they blamed our plumbing team who are outstanding and did our three other bathrooms with no issues. Disappointing customer service I would not recommend.

EL028 electric towel rail…

Purchased an EL028 electric towel rail February 2022. The builder I employed to fit my new shower room fitted this; it didn’t work. A Vogue engineer was summoned. There was no oil in the towel rail, engineer filled the towel rail with oil, it was tested and he left; I think we’ll all agree, not a good experience.
December 2022, all the oil leaked out , I had to put a basin under the towel rail to catch the leaking oil.
Called Vogue and with some begging and pleading managed to get an engineer to repair said towel rail before Christmas; his decision was to replace with a new one. I was fine with this and he had one in the van. Big problem now, the replacement towel rail has mounting brackets positioned in different places! Engineer left with three out of the four brackets holding the towel rail on the wall at a rather crazy angle.
I’ve had my builder just spend 3 hours plus fixing the towel rail back on the wall.
On a scale of 1- 10, 1 being rubbish, 10 being excellent, how do you think I would rate my experience with Vogue Radiators

Long lead time, broken promises and poor quality paintwork.

Chose Astute aluminium vertical radiator from images(not high definition pictures) in Wolseley catalogue and Vogue website. Delivery forecast was originally 4 or 5 weeks which was extended twice. Only one out of 3 ordered was delivered and this had faulty paintwork. Not impressed so I returned it and cancelled the other 2. Now ordered Eastbrook Rosano from Plumbstop for next day delivery! Will review in due course.

Nice looking column radiator but…

Nice looking column radiator but useless service. Ordered via a supplier. Delivery delayed several times due to Aestus missed promises. Eventually turned up but without the legs pictured on Aestus' own website. Supplier rang them and was told "oh they're optional, we don't send those unless people ask for them"! Supposedly sent out in 1st class post. Still not arrived. Aestus customer service staff on the phone a mixed bag - one helpful and one disinterested. No technical drawings available for radiator so cannot get dimensions without the radiator arriving.

Chased again. Sent again - this time recorded delivery. Did turn up in the end. But looked nothing like on their website. Supplier chased again - Aestus apparently said "oh, these are the only legs available" !!! Unbelievable.
