General overview of the Aevig watch and shopping
The shopping/delivery experience was very good and smooth. I got the watch in one week without any problem.
Watch packaging itself is so-so. I expected a bit more high end than piece of styrofoam.
Visually the watch quality is superb. Couple important items though are less than ideal:
- the crown is too tight and hard to unscrew
- it also has rough finish
- I'm wearing this watch regularly, I recorded that it's running +10 sec a day fast on average. I understand that this is within the spec of the movement but really I expected it to be more accurate. I would be very happy to see the accuracy in the area of under +5 sec a day.
- not sure if that is possible to fix, but the minute hand is hair un-aligned with second hand and marking on the dial.
Overall, I like the watch, and I would recommend it to a friend but explain/share my experience.
