Failure to Deliver or Tell the truth
I ordered a bespoke Pine Single Bed Frame at a cost of £324 paid in full on 17th March 2025 with a promised delivery date upfront of 4 weeks. I started enquiring as to progress 4 weeks later and again and again and again for the next 10 weeks only to be fobbed off each time with promised delivery dates that didn’t happen. I did get some apologies along the way but with a distinct lack of sincerity and more importantly action to address the issue. Recently I gave them, in writing, a deadline of 19th June for delivery (14 weeks after ordering) or I would cancel the order and request an immediate refund. On 19th June I had an SMS message stating that the bed would not be delivered that day and that a credit card refund had been processed and guess what……10 days later still NO refund !!!). I have now requested that the bank, through a Section 75 (“Failure to deliver goods paid for”) claim, recover my money from this disgraceful company. Affordable Furniture should read this review and take heed of their complete lack of customer care and good communication. However, if they dispute this truthful statement, backed up by evidence, then they are even less honest than they have been for the last 14 weeks. BE WARNED BEFORE YOU PART WITH YOUR MONEY!!!
