Delayed delivery but overall positive experience
The delay due to change of address on a very old contract that was closed and due to this falling on a weekend took over a week for delivery and could have bought in person quicker. Other than that, reasonable prkce and easy to use website.

I'm sorry to hear there was a small delay on your order. We'd like to clarify that the delay was caused because the delivery details provided on the order did not match the details held by the network. We sent an email shortly after the order was placed to advise of this and requested confirmation once the information was updated.
A couple of days later, you confirmed that the details had been updated, allowing us to proceed with processing the order. Once the order was approved and completed, it was dispatched and delivered the following day.
We appreciate that this my have caused an inconvenience and understand your comments regarding the delivery timescale. Thank you for recognising our competitive pricing and easy-to-use website, and we hope to serve you again in the future.

Sent an opened, already activated iPhone instead of the new one that was ordered
I ordered an upgrade for a new Apple iPhone, when this was delivered the packaging was dirty but sealed and when I switched the phone on it had already been activated and used by someone else as there were photos on the camera roll. I rang affordable mobiles and have emailed to be told they need to investigate and I would hear back in 24-48 hours, this has now passed and I still have no update on when a brand new phone is being sent out and when the old will be collected. The advisor on the phone confirmed that they knew the warehouse had sent out an activated phone which given the contract was advertised as a new phone and I had paid out over £150 upfront for the phone on top of the contract is disgraceful. Customer service has so far been poor, my tariff has switched and I am due to be charged for a new contract on a phone I will not be using.

While we understand that the timeframe originally advised has now passed, the relevant team will be back in the office tomorrow and your case will be picked back up at that point. They will continue their investigation and work towards providing a resolution as quickly as possible.

I'm sorry to hear you believe our website displays dishonest and misleading offers. Having reviewed your order, I can see you contacted us to cancel your order as you placed this as a new contract instead of an upgrade.
As the handset had already been dispatched at the time of your request, our team arranged a return and advised that the contract would be cancelled once the handset was received back at our warehouse.
I can confirm that the handset has since been returned, the contract has been cancelled, and the upfront payment has been refunded in full.

I placed an order on Thursday night and they took the money, the order still hasn’t been processed. If you order direct with any mobile network, you get an answer almost straight away. I don’t understand how it takes so long.

The online buying experience was fine
The online buying experience was fine. But after purchase, communication was awful. Didn't get any delivery details or tracking notification. Had to eventually call the customer service line for details. Found out phone was coming that day and luckily I was working from home that day.
Sim from O2 and I'd selected to port my old number. That was also a faff and not a smooth process.
Happy with the product itself though.
