never too old to be bold
With A Fish Named Fred, I finally understood that fashion doesn’t make you older – unless you wear it without humor. Every fabric here seems to be part of a quiet conspiracy against boredom. The shirts whisper “Live!”, the jackets call “Show yourself!”, and the vests appear to have reinvented elegance altogether. I’m 65 years young, and Fred makes me feel as if I’ve just discovered what true joy in a wardrobe means. Whoever wears this brand is never too old to be bold. And if Oscar Wilde were alive today, I’m certain he’d invite Fred for tea – and envy him for his waistcoat.

When people ask about my favorite fish, my answer is Fred!
Both casually and for professional occassions its blazers and shirts are pretty much part if my standard outfit. When I give presentations at conferences, there are always people asking where I got my blazer (and rarely questions about my presentation....).

Update I have been emailing service@FishnamedFred, inc last on 22/08/25 you can see in their reply below they are pretending to reach out to me as if I haven't continuously raised this with them! Terrible customer service!!!!
BUYER BEWARE returns are impossible from the UK do not buy direct online.
Despite having prices in GBP AFNF is in the Netherlands beware!
You have to pay for your own return and its essential for it to be tracked, from Royal Mail that cost was £17 to return 2 shirts in 1 parcel.
That return package has been held by Customs in the Netherlands for over a month. Which means no refund for me and nothing to show for it!
There's no action I can take to get it out of Customs, that has to be done by AFNF whom I have contacted; they have gone silent.
It contains a fully declared customs form detailing the contents, value and all contacts.
I thought this would be a regular transaction from an online retailer and I'm now seriously out of pocket. Not happy!

I have three loves in my life. My children, my 1997 Toyota 4Runner and my A Fish Named Fred light blue pique blazer. The fit is extraordinary, the workmanship exquisite and the feeling of slipping it on is euphoric.

Bought a vest a few months ago, washed 5 times, holes are falling in the armpit. Never before experienced such poor quality clothing for such an expensive price. I will not buy this brand again.

VAT not refunded
We bought goods from this shop in March 14, 2024 and they refused to refund the VAT to us. We have requested a few times, and were told by the team of VAT.com that our claim has been unsuccessful because A fish named Fred ignored our requests. This is ridiculous! Never go back!
