Selling out of date products

We purchased Blanchon wood oil from AG Woodcare in summer 2024. In spite of following the manufacturer's guidelines, 3 freshly laid wooden floors were ruined by the oil. When we checked the expiry date on the cans, the product was out of date. It cost us nearly £1000 to rectify by re-sanding all of the floors and reapplying the oil. In spite of us contacting Blanchon, who said that expired oil should never be used, AG Woodcare refused to accept responsibility or liability. We didn't even receive a refund of the oil. They stopped replying to my emails. Do not use.
