Not a good experience - sent without care and protection, and sent late.

They sent a linen hat in an envelope. It came badly creased - I bought the same hat from another company in a different colour and they boxed it and protected the shape with tissue.

Paid extra for 24hr delivery, before their 3pm ‘next day’ cut off. Received 2 days late.

I would usually send it back, but simply put, I don’t trust them. So a tailor is sorting out the awful creases for me.

Never again buying from them.

Drove an hour because website says open till 3pm on Sundays got there 2.30 and was closed. Very disappointed. Looked through the windows and looked low to middle quality of stock. Change the website times save people wasting time and money.

Such a great shopping experience in the Kelso shops & on line. A really good selection of quality clothing, footwear & gifts. Friendly & knowledgeable staff that really do go out of their way to be helpful. When I needed to return an item I'd ordered on line the return was dealt with promptly. They make Xmas shopping easy.

Bought a pair of boots (£425) on behalf of my nephew. This was the only place that he could find these particular ones in the size he required and he needed them straight away. However when I opened the box in the shop - there was an obvious chip on the outside of one of the heels. They didnt have another pair available, so I asked if they could consider giving me a discount as they were clearly damaged but they refused! Infact - they looked taken aback that I even had the gaul to ask.
I then requested if they could perhaps provide something from the shop (even a pair of socks) for the inconvenience - but they totally refused to consider that too.
When you buy something new it should be immaculate and in excellent condition - especially at that price!!
They weren’t interested. I left the shop furious.
Be warned.

Great experience both instore and online with this shop. Shipping is fast, packaging is great and prices are competitive. Instore the staff are excellent and will go out of their way to help without overselling.

Searching for a rather hard to locate shoe. A walking shoe for men. Found here, it was full RRP, however they were showing a discount code - as most outlet's do.

So, I go through he 5 web pages filling in details to get to the point where I enter my discount code. Only to find ' Cannot use the code '. No other useful info. Emailed the site. I have been informed the code can only be used on 'Sale' items. Fair enough, no issues with that, but it does not say this anywhere on the web site, otherwise I would have not gone through the process of buying. Managed to find somewhere else to purchase from.

Best store to buy from ever!! Highly recommend. They add a personal unique touch to each order and appreciation gifts to valued customers. Received an unexpected gift with a thank you note which was a lovely surprise and shows what a lovely small business to buy from. Really appreciated.

Great country clothing. Delivery and refunds can be slowish but it’s a family business competing online, it’s fine. The products and service politeness and results are top.

I ordered a UK size 52 Shoeffel Cottesmore Fleece through A Hume in Kelso. Unfortunately, the fleece was far too small - at best it was 46". The customer service lady explained that this range has been supplied in smaller sizes than previous Schoeffel fleeces and the Cottesmore was not available to fit size 52" chest despite the Schoeffel size guide. The agent provided me with a free returns label but I don't have a new fleece!

I ordered a Fjallraven jacket from A Hume because their price was significantly less than anywhere else I could find online.

Postage was included in the cost and the jacket arrived less than 24 hours later via courier.
Packaging was excellent - a proper box and not just a flimsy plastic bag - which makes a difference when making an expensive purchase such as this.

I would use A Hume again if I was buying outdoor clothing as I feel that their prices and delivery service are very good.

Sent me poor quality boots (the left was a different colour to the right) and did nothing to be helpful or compensate me adequately. There were also several instances of miscommunication between staff about product availability, not replying to my email, and not putting boots on hold as requested.

Awesome customer experience - boots (which I thought I had left too late to give as a Christmas gift) delivered within 24 hours of purchase. Competitive pricing and excellent communications. Very positive.

A Hume Outfitters is really the most amazing store I have ever dealt with. The customer service every time I shop there is beyond anything I have ever experienced anywhere else. It truly is incredible.

I have shopped at A Hume a number of times before and each time I am more and more impressed. I have just ordered a couple of pairs of R.M.Williams jeans. I am quite particular in that I like to have the size right. But because of the manufacturing tolerance sizes can vary quite a lot.

I contacted Erin and told her what I wanted. She then physically sorted through stock, measuring each one and found the perfect size for me.

They then went to the seamstress to be altered in length which is free of charge.

When I received them, both pairs fitted perfectly. And the Seamstress Mo, made an excellent job of shortening them to my size. You wouldn’t know they had been altered.

Sorted out postal problem to Scottish Isles with ease via chat & phone (was same person too) and super quick delivery - Ordered 5th October arrived 7th October
