Ordered portable a/c unit on 1st July. Originally given delivery date of 10th July. Pushed back to 15th then 22nd. Now it appears that stock not coming til end of July! How? I was told on 13th by customer services that stock was being booked in. Then on 14th I was told stock was stuck in customs ?? I was also promised a follow up from customer services which never happened. Called again on 18th to be told that the supplier has now advised end of month. How? Someone obviously lied to me. What happened to 'being booked in' and 'stuck in customs' ?? I have Atrial Fibrilation and my husband has COPD both affected by heat. I'm so disappointed by the way I have been fobbed off. If I had known the real lead time I would not have wasted £800 of my husbands pension! Some companies are very quick to inflate prices and make promises they can't keep. I'm so upset about this!!
UPDATE: Having been told on 18th that a/c unit was not arriving until end of month I had an email on 21st saying it would be delivered on 22nd. I immediately called (3 30pm) to say no one would be home due to a hospital appt some distance away but was told by customer services that we'd have to wait for the delivery to fail then re-arrange. How ridiculous when I was calling the day before delivery was planned. Finally delivered today (24th). Whilst I am relieved it has arrived I am shocked at how poor the customer service is. Staff either gave poor information or lacked the ability to actually help. Just hoping it doesn't break down as I can't imagine I'll get a swift resolution.

Delivered on a different day than agreed, when I was out. There was no way to reschedule delivery. Driver left £900 item in front of the house when I was away for the weekend.

Oh my goodness. I’ve never dealt with a company that were so bad with returns and refunds on faulty products. Sincerely, save yourself the needless stress.

Amazing company, couldn't do enough for us. Kept up to date with the progress of the order. Would highly reccomend

Delivered on day that was promised driver courteous and helpful. Aircon working fine and operates as description states

I ordered a portable air conditioner as it stated in stock, I paid for next day delivery. Later that evening I received a message to state that the order has been delayed. I called the next day to be told that they only had 1 in stock but 4 people purchased it and paid so only one person can have it. I voiced my disappointment to be told that they had more coming in on Friday but they would be £200 more! Absolute criminals, just looking to rip off customers!

Delivered before specified date and helped me to completed works ontime

Unit arrived broken, spent ages trying to resolve. Got a refund in the end

Poorly packaged and arrived in torn part open box. The couriers DX just left a £450 package on the doorstep with no notifications and didn’t knock on the door. Also the was basically no available tracking and an eight hour delivery window so we waited in all day to find it on the doorstep when we took the bins out.

I rarely write Trustpilot reviews, but my recent experience with Aircon Direct UK warrants sharing this information for other consumers. I placed an order expecting standard delivery fulfillment, but instead faced a delay of over two weeks. When I contacted the company regarding the status of the shipment, I was informed that the items were entirely out of stock, despite the order having been processed.

Furthermore, the customer service interaction was highly unprofessional. The phone support staff became defensive and argumentative, refusing to provide refunds, demonstrating a clear lack of training in professional communication and conflict resolution. Would strongly avoid at all costs.

I confirmed that the air conditioner was in stock before placing my order. During checkout, I chose to use my own installer, but the website rejected their certification number and instructed me to pay first, saying customer services would contact me afterwards.

I called to get confirmation before paying, but instead I was repeatedly transferred between departments without receiving a clear answer. As a result, I lost confidence in the company and decided not to proceed with the purchase.

To make matters worse, I later discovered that the phone calls had cost me over £40. The whole experience was extremely frustrating and unacceptable.

Delivered the humidifier swiftly and well packaged. It was in very good condition for a reconditioned item.

After the first heat wave, as an elderly couple, we needed to do something to cope with repeated heat exhaustion and sleepless nights.
As the climate is expected to get worse, it was time to do something about it.
We selected a high capacity air conditioning unit from the range this Company offers.
It was delivered on time, well packaged, and with a clear User Manual.
Being on castor wheels we can locate it in any room of our bungalow.
We find that we can keep our lounge, really cool and if we open it up to the short hallway and keep one bedroom door open, it makes both rooms more comfortable.
We are very pleased with it and consider it a good investment for the future.

All good, product as described. Delivery took a little longer than I would’ve liked and price was more than I wanted to pay but given that it seemed to be the last portable air con unit in the country…

Good product, arrived on time

Very pleased with the delivery time of my portable air conditioning unit during a heatwave. Couldn’t work out why the accessories were delivered separately,I’m sure there’s good reason.
