Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 8,927 reviews, reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers consistently praise the service for being efficient, seamless, and stress-free, with many appreciating that the company handles all the necessary paperwork and communication with airlines. The refund process is often highlighted as smooth and transparent, with people receiving their compensation directly and being kept informed throughout the process. Many reviewers found the user experience easy and straightforward, from the initial claim submission to receiving updates and final payment. However, some customers also noted that the claim process could take a significant amount of time, with some waiting months or even years for a resolution or receiving only partial compensation. The flight late cancelation, poor replacement and copensation

The flight (on the 6/7) was canceled and replaced with a flight early morning the next day (07:00 on the 7/7). The cost of that return flight (Toulouse to paris) was 900 Euro. I was compensated only by 250 euro.

Hello,

Thank you for reviewing our service. We understand your disappointment with the payout amount.

We would like to clarify that €250 is the maximum legal compensation amount mandated by EU law for a short-distance flight delay or cancellation, regardless of the original ticket price. Please also keep in mind that AirHelp processes claims for legal compensation due to flight disruptions, and we do not process refunds for the tickets themselves.

While we can usually add extra expenses caused by the disruption—such as meals or hotel stays—to a claim, our legal team needs to receive the official receipts for these costs at the very beginning of the process to submit them to the airline.

In case you have any questions or if you would like us to review the specific details of your case, please let us know by reaching out to us via our live chat at airhlp.co/livechat or via email at info@airhelp.com.

Thank you and have a nice day.

I was eligible 400€ when a flight i booked via flygcity.se got cancelled and the airline offered a alternative route that did not aline with the EU261 law. I contacted the airline and asked for the refund but then got a email from Airhelp who informed me that they were in a partnership with the flight agency and already started a dialogue with the airline. I searched up Airhelp and found out they take a 35% take of the money and immediately told them to stop talking with the airline and let me handle it. One month later they told me it was too late in the process to stop the errand and now i sit here with a email that says Airhelp is going to pay me 140€. Last time i checked thats not 65% och 400€.

AirHelp is more like a stand-up comedy act than an airline law firm

Hello,

Thank you for reviewing our service. We understand your frustration regarding the communication and the final payout amount you received, and we would like to clarify how our fees and processes work.

We can cancel the claim if the request is sent within 14 days after opening the case.
Our standard Service Fee corresponds to 35% of the compensation received from the airline, which covers all the administrative and legal work involved in validating documents, checking flight data, and negotiating with the airline. However, if an airline refuses to cooperate during the initial stages, we are prepared to fight for your rights before a court. Once there is a requirement of engaging external lawyers and filing the case in court, an additional Legal Fee of 15% is applied to help offset significant legal and court costs. Even if these costs exceed that amount, we never charge beyond a total of 50%, meaning you always receive at least half of the secured amount, and you face no financial risk if we do not win.

Regarding the specific amount you received, we want to look into your file to verify the total compensation paid by the airline and ensure the fee was calculated correctly. Please contact us directly via our live chat at airhlp.co/livechat or email us at info@airhelp.com with your claim details so we can check this again for you and provide full clarity.

Thank you and have a nice day.

The timeous and prompt service for something I was totally unaware of in the first place, was unbelievable. I received an email within days of my flight incident, completed the form with zero expectations, and they continued to keep me updated via email, every step of the process, and the next thing my claim was approved and I received payment as promised into my account - all within a month of the incident!

Worth the money spent for their service, They took all the paperwork and back and forth with the airline call centers, I had only to fill out an easy form on the web. Peace of mind, the reimbursement from Lufthansa arrived directly on my bank account.

You should open a service also for baggage lost. 6 weeks of calls with call centers in Albania and an inexistent customer service with Air France... I got a partial reimburse for lost baggage from them after 10 weeks of pain.

Fantastic service! They got us our compensation when airlines refused.

"I cannot recommend AirHelp enough! Our flight from Newark to Copenhagen was canceled, and I personally tried to contact the airline twice to get compensated. Both times, they just made excuses and tried to wiggle out of their responsibility.

Out of frustration, we decided to give AirHelp a try. It was the best decision we could have made. The entire process was smooth, hassle-free, and within 3 months, the money was in our account. If you are dealing with stubborn airlines, don't waste your time fighting them yourself—let AirHelp handle it!"
