Really bad service , they try in every way to money from you

The worst airport ever.
Staff rude and unhelpful. Half of the staff doesn't speak English
When you try to talk to them, or ask them to explain something they just keep talking in German. I'm never flying Ryanair again

Not very good experience.
Prepare yourselves to pay 4€ (Feb2026) to enter at the airport ring. The airport is in a private area and its very small.
Even if you have rental car you have to pay this value.
Inside the airport there is a worker reponsible for making you pay more for excess baggage. My bag was 5cm over the limit and the stupid worker told me to put it in the "checked baggage" (more 60€)
Some airlines think we're stupid and don't see through their schemes....
and how this airport is almost "made in ryanair" its full of these schemes !!

My Ryanair flight was diverted here today on route to Amsterdam. Ryanair put us on a bus to Amsterdam and someone took my suit case in error! They will have all male clothes in it and I have all females clothes. Ryanair say contest Weeze Airport and Weeze Airport says contact Ryanair. Does no one care in this world anymore? Any help is appreciate

Terrible airport. There was complete mismanagement at the securituy which caused that many passengers of our flight missed it. No help at all from the airport and still not any reaction on our complaint about this.
There was just one scanner available ant this in holiday season. Our holiday was completely ruined by this Airport.

Just returned from germany after champions league final weekend and ive spent 2 days in bed with severe food poisoning due to eating a chicken wrap served at the airside cafe just before my flight home.
Ive suffered Diarrhoea,kidney pains,back ache & ive also lost 10lbs in weight ,lost time off work so please take this as a warning dont eat at this airport.

The guy at the security check was very slow, despite the line, he didn't seem to move at all, while the woman (his colleague) seemed extremely irritated. I must have said something like "Jesus Christ!" when i saw her throwing my stuff around, when she suddenly attacked me, called me “b*tch” and threatened to throw me away from the airport. I understand that she was having a bad day, but such an offensive and unprofessional behaviour should not be accepted anywhere. I’m not even talking about dirty toilets at the airport.

We ordered two weeks parking at Weeze airport. Unfortunately we had to leave the airport within an hour. Circumstances.
The airport is not willing to refund our payment.
One hour parking for 107 euro.

Faster check in. Despite the fact that it was very quiet, the security staff was very impatient and impolite.

Very unfriendly and arrogant. Makes you pay priority for an extra bag, even if we had free handbagage bags. They wanted to cancel my flight, because I was rude. If you're rude to me, you can get it back from me. They just want to make you pay and cause stress and delay. At the end a person who works there said that we could go with the free bags, so she was nice and friendly. But the rest very racist and rude. Never again

Dirty toilets all over the airport, smelling also. It's a real disgrace, so not German.Haven't seen any staff. Do something about it. Only few facilities, 1 shop and 1 point to buy coffee and sandwich at high price. The parking was easy, close to the entrance. You have to pay €3 at the entrance and then take a parking ticket again. Why pay €3 on top of the parking rate?? Check in was very fast, that was excellent.

P2 with ample visible spots no access because it was “full”. Extremely annoying particularly because the alternative P3 was nearly full. Highly stressful.

You can judge a lot of different establishments by the cleanliness of the toilets. The gents toilets were a disgrace. I tried 3 different locations and the toilet seats were all either missing or lying on the floor. The toilets were also dirty and smelly. Not nice. In fact the worst I've seen in any airport. The rest of the Airport was ok.

I landed there, never departed from this airport. The airport is very basic, pretty in line with the airlines that use it. It was fast to get out, but it took forever to leave it by public transportation. The bus to the train station, 6 km away, runs every hour. When it arrived, it got full very soon. We waited for 20 minutes before leaving, with an accumulating angry crowd of people who could not get on. Be sure you have coins 3 euros for the tichet, no cards accepted, no change. No taxis there, must call one, and there was a very long waiting time. Weeze only has 10000 inhabitants. No Uber service in the area. Weeze train station is an abandoned building, really depressing. It takes more than an hour by regional train to reach the real Dusseldorf. A good note: the lady at the info desk was very kind.

One of the worst airport experiences in a long time. First, it is very hard to reach by public transport, even though we were next to it. We have to finally get a (very expensive) taxi, which had to pay €3 just to get into the territory of the airport (not even for parking).
Second, the security looks like they have a suspicious deal with Ryanair. They charge you €1.10 per plastic bag for your liquids (whilst they have been free for years in 99% of European airports). They tried to find any excuse they could to make us pay extra for our hand luggage (even before doing the proper security control). Finally, my colleague had checked luggage; however, due to some issues with the app, he wasn't able to make the check-in on time. In the vast majority of airports that Ryanair flies to /from, airport check-in is free if you travel with held luggage. At this airport, he was forced to pay another extra €35 for that. Not much space for sitting, the bar/bistro is even more overpriced than in regular airports and has almost no variety (especially for vegetarians). The only positive thing is that the actual security check-in was very fast.

No Wifi/Bad wifi. Internet terminal dedicated to customers/clients does/did not work.
One of the reasons that we missed our flight...
I don't believe the airport is willing to pay half of our missed flight tickets.Because people need an airport and there are not hundreds of them within 100km's.So they are in a position of power...
Be shure to check your mobile internet before arriving at weeze and activate roaming.
When the airport is willing to pay a part of our tickets and fix the wifi I am willing ro remove this review.
So when you loose your mobile phone, or it get's stolen or when your internet is not working as it should you should not count on reasonable internet over there.The coverage isn't that great as well.tried 3 smartphones.

3 times a year I fly with the same 2 bags never a problem. Suddenly here in Weeze Airport it is to big according to them. I need to check inn one bag. already paid for priority and now 36 euro extra.

It isn't the first incident either at Weeze Airport. Actually every time I fly from here something happens.

Most of the staff is incredible rude. They bent the rules anyway they see fit. A plastic bag for liquids not approved... They attack you about wearing a mouth mask, while none of them are wearing it themselves. If you tell them you are lucky that you will be able to fly at all.

Facilities are incredible bad and old fashioned anyway.

What a terrible inpolite police man!!! My mask was just 2 mm under my nose after check control handbaggage pull my jacket off answering several questions from the security guy so in those 10 seconds my mask was 2 mm under my nose and the police man says if i see it again i will send you away!! What a racist police man they have in germany i will never fly through this airport again!!
