Not reliable for a family transfer

Booked Airport Bee for a family transfer with ISOFIX child seats, which was confirmed in advance. The car arrived with the wrong type of seats for the wrong age, secured only by seatbelt, which was disappointing and unsafe.

Unprofessional

I used them for a taxi for my elderly parents. It didn't arrive and they have not refunded me £116. Very unprofessional

The driver was wearing flip-flops

The driver was wearing flip-flops, he was also speaking loudly on the phone throughout the journey, which felt unprofessional and quite distracting. The vehicle wasn’t clean, and the driver’s behavior and driving style made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe during the trip. I sent them an email about this and they didn't even bother to reply after two weeks.

Total scam company

Total scam company. For airport trips they quote fake low price, agree the booking in writing and confirm that fixed price, when the driver arrives they call you and increase the price by 40% without any reason. The oldest taxi scam in the book but they are still doing it. Avoid these scammers.

Superb service …

Arrived on a red eye to London Heathrow at 4:40am. My lovely driver Raja sent me a text message to say that he has arrived. Pleasant service and safe drive all the way home. Thank you Raja.

Avoid AirportBee / Cheetah

I’ve been using Cheetah / AirportBee for over 10 years, and there’s been a steady decline in service. From one driver who smelled of alcohol, one who took a wrong turn, which incurred toll fees I was charged for (who lied and said I had insisted on driving that way), to a couple who left me waiting for over 30mins (for which you don’t get a discount, though you do get fined if it’s the other way around) to others who charged me for my being held up in a huge passport control queue, to the many who drove straight into congested roads as they didn’t know the area having caused me twice to almost miss my flight etc etc, the response from Cheetah has been firmly on the side of not caring about me as their customer so long as they get their money.
The only thing you can rely on, is that their drivers check the actual status of your flight and act accordingly. Imagine my surprise therefore when my flight kept getting delayed (at the end it totaled 24 hours), yet the driver apparently didn’t see the flight status (as in the flight not having taken off from Bangkok) and headed to the airport regardless (which I was unaware of). Furthermore, I had made a mistake when booking by having added the wrong phone number. I called them (twice) to confirm the correct number, and each time they told me not to worry, they would use the correct one. I never received texts or calls on this number saying the driver would head off, so assumed they were aware of the huge delay in my arrival. Upon my return I checked the other phone (which I had left in the UK), and they had of course used that number, despite assuring me they wouldn’t. I was unaware of this at the time, as I only had the other phone on me. I called from Bangkok to confirm that my pickup would now be at the new time and couldn't believe it when they said that their driver had been at the airport at the originally scheduled time. I challenged that as it was clearly stated on all channels that the flight had been delayed and hadn’t departed. The person on the phone lied and said that Google had shown no such delay - despite it showing on Google in bright red letters, as well as on Flightaware and Heathrow arrivals etc. They put me on hold for ages from Bangkok and I kept having to call back as their promised return call never happened. Lastly (after multiple calls to them from overseas) they offered me a return of GBP 50 for the 100 Pounds they had already collected via PayPal. I was supposed to receive the refund within a couple of days…Well, a couple of days have been and gone, and nothing! Also, no email confirmation to the effect. I feel absolutely cheated. After so many years as a customer it’s astonishing how pathetic their customer service is. And I truly don’t get the stupidity of calling or texting a phone they knew had been left behind in the UK. They seem overwhelmed, uncaring, confused and only focused on lining their pockets. Avoid!

Avoid! 2x much delayed pickup

I used Airport Bee/ Cheetah airport transfor twice and disappointed both times as the pick up was delayed. First time 30min, and second time about one hour. The driver had mistakenly went to my drop off address for pickup, and failed to honestly inform me. Instead told me stuck in traffic and ended up waiting for a hour. After I complained strongly and demanded a discount they suggested they’d give one for the next ride - an undefined amount. There won’t be a next trip! Avoid. Much easier to grab an uber/ bolt once you land. Fails the purpose of pre-booking.

This company is a FRAUD!!

This company is a FRAUD!!! Airport Bee / Cheetah Ltd. Don't book with them!! I had the exact same experience as another reviewer where the company called me 4 days before our cab is scheduled and told me we owed 34 GBP more or they have to cancel the cab. It was also the same reason that there was a glitch on the website when booking so now I owed more. We booked specifically with this company 7 weeks ago because of the price and then they call me a few days before to charge more. FRAUDS!!!!! The guy on the phone was extremely rude as well and really upset me. So please DO NOT BOOK with this company, they are literal frauds and will screw you over for a cab and charge you more last minute. I am just hoping the my money will come back on my card - you can guarantee I'll be back online for more complaining if they don't refund it quickly!!!!!

Avoid!!

Got a call this morning- 8 hours before pick up- to tell me if I didn’t pay an extra £60 then my booking would be cancelled. The guy on the phone was extremely rude and kept talking over me and refused to let me speak to a manager.
Claims there was a system glitch and the price was wrong even though our booking was confirmed over 1.5 weeks ago.
Save yourself the hassle and book somewhere else!

I read lots of reviews as was unsure about booking. They tracked my flight, picked me up on time and kept in communication when I landed. The car was nice and clean and the driver friendly. He drive safely and got me exactly where I needed to be. They were cheaper than other companies and I would definitely use them again!

Awful awful awful booked a taxi for…

Awful awful awful booked a taxi for family to be picked up from Heathrow. On the booking needs a UK number to complete. Paid in full. Flight is delayed called office to inform them. I am told that the flights r tracked do there is no need to call to tell them. Advised on booking that contact for the people arriving is different to mine. Number left. Driver us texting me he has arrived 10 mins after they did. I tell him I am not with them and will pass them his number. He doesn't want to come into the terminal so is sending me meeting instructions. This is after I have told him I am not with them. Paying prior means that they are meant to come in and meet by WH Smith's. He calls me 5 times for contact I have very clearly explained to him I can't follow through as I am not the passenger. He drops the relatives off and is then calling me asking for waiting time fee. I'm like what planet are these people on? You have lost this customer. Ridiculous. No service. Will find someone else.

horrific

airport bee had been my go to for literally years. unfortunately it has taken a huge turn for the worse and now every single one of my trips with them is poor. i will never use them again.

i returned from holiday yesterday after booking a 14:45 transfer home with airport bee. despite my booking saying 14:45, they decided to take the time that the plane landed as my booking time instead and essentially set the timer from landing time on the 30 mins they give before they start charging you extra (!).

it landed 15 mins early which in my view is irrelevant…i booked you for 14:45, not 14:30. yet an extra 15 mins was added to my “late fees”. how that is even legal is beyond me when I explicitly booked them for 14:45.

on top of the £40 ish I’d already paid, I ended up being charged an extra £25 for the driver’s car park fees (yes…seriously) and for wait time.

an airport transfer business should be taking on the risk of extra wait times themselves, not charging the customer!

Totally HORRIFIC

Totally HORRIFIC! The driver showed up 45 minutes late (after three phone calls to the office told us he was "on the way") with NO sign to indicate he was there to pick us up. He was visibly impaired and rude when we refused to ride with him in light of the obvious impairment. When I demanded a refund, the office was far more concerned about the driver getting paid for his gas than they were about the fact that their driver showed up 45 minutes late and obviously impaired. AVOID THIS COMPANY! They SUCK!

THE ABSOLUTE WORST - AVOID AVOID AVOID!

THE ABSOLUTE WORST, UNRELIABLE, RUDE, COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.

**Note: Airportbee and cheetah cars are the same company. I happened to book with airportbee**

I read some bad reviews about this company before booking a pickup from the airport, but I figured “how likely is it that I’ll get the same bad service?”, so I went ahead and prebooked a car with a child seat with them.

Oh how wrong could I be

Driver shows up without a child car seat???!!!id booked TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE.
Worse still, when I called “customer services” they were SO UNBELIEVABLY RUDE, Made no attempt to apologise and simply quoted me their smallprint, effectively saying that despite the fact that I booked 2 weeks in advance and only used their services because I needed a car seat (which they expressly offer during the booking process), they are under no obligation to provide one.
Extraordinary.

Seriously, NEVER EVER use this company for any reason. They are the worst on every level.

Very unreliable

Very unreliable. We had a very tight timeframe and they were 20 minutes late to pick us up. We had to get in a taxi at the last minute and pay double. Our friends waited an hour for pickup at the airport the day before.

Another shuttle company you should DEFINITELY avoid

This is my last experience with them - since then, I never considered them again.

As I was making my way to board my flight from Athens, Greece (ATH) to London Heathrow (LHR), I booked an Airport Bee car for later that evening, 30 minutes after my arrival at LHR. While booking my car, the online platform was not accepting my flight number (Aegean Airlines - A3608) no matter how many times I tried typing it.

In the end and after having tried with multiple Aegean Airlines (A3) flight numbers, I had to type another company's flight (BA) in order to proceed. I made sure, however, to write in the 'notes' section the exact flight number I was going to board.

A couple of minutes later, I received a phonecall from the driver to whom my booking had been assigned, asking me which terminal I was going to arrive at - I answered him. Immediately after that call, I received another one from one of your representatives who was insisting that I had asked the driver to pick me up from another terminal (as BA flights from and to T5). When I explained him the problem, he mentioned that I should have sent an email, accusing me of wasting a driver's time. When I answered back that it wasn't my problem that the platform was not functioning properly, that the email I had received with my booking mentioned only T2 (you can find it attached) and that the last thing I cared about when rushing to catch my flight in a foreign country, was to send an email to an online service, he hang up the phone.

The driver that picked me and my wife up in the end was a very helpful and gentle one, whom we met in the terminal's parking area, after having successfully contacted each other first.

I tried to book a car for the same flight as I was them an email and the problem persisted.

As a loyal customer who had used Airport Bee a respectful number of times in the past two years from and to LHR (check your files for my name if you have any doubts), this was the first time I had any kind of problem with the platform. I felt however deeply offended and insulted by your representative's attitude, which was unacceptable and definitely condemnable.

In a number of cases that I was really satisfied with the quality of their services in the past, I had absolutely no hesitation to share my experiences through social media and even blog about them. This time though, I thought to contact them directly, taking into account the seriousness of the issue.

They never responded...

STAY AWAY.
