Highest recommendation for price, variety of choice and service…

this is about the fourth or fifth appliance that I’ve bought through AJ Madison and it’s the first time that I’ve had to use their service as a result of a delivered item not functioning properly on delivery.

Well, that might not be the greatest thing to have happen when you see the kind of service organization they have in place in the way they’re able to respond. It’s wonderful.

Highly recommended these guys know what they’re doing and they know how to get it done when things unexpectedly happen highest recommendation.

Fernando of AJ Madison Support was very helpful in coordinating service with the freezer manufacturer and their contractor in order to move the repair service forward and keep me updated on the process.

UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES

UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES – USED PRODUCTS SOLD AS NEW

We ordered a freezer from AJ Madison and it was delivered in January. The freezer they delivered was damaged, so we requested that they replace the unit. They delivered a replacement freezer in January that was also damaged.

The damaged freezer does not look like a factory finished product according to the product pictures posted online. The top of the freezer has a makeshift top on it that is visibly a repair. The freezer that was delivered is either a factory second that was sold as a brand-new unit, or a scratch & dent unit AJ Madison is selling as a new unit.

We requested that AJ Madison come and get the secondhand freezer and replace it with a new freezer and they are refusing to replace the defective unit. We’ve reached out to the Better Business Bureau, in addition to the manufacturer Koolmore. The only option we were given by Koolmore was to open an onsite repair ticket that must go through AJ Madison in order to try and make the freezer like factory new.
Customers need to be made aware they could get factory rejects or scratch & dent appliances falsely advertised and sold as brand new, without any recourse to have the product replaced.

My Appliance's Journey for My New Kitchen

The sales representatives listened to me and supported my budget. There are options if you go slightly over. I called with questions and visited the AJ Madison Showroom. I did additional research on selections, and AJ Madison was my final choice. I made my selections working with a sales representative over the phone since I visited their showroom. I chose my appliances and spoke with my contractor about getting a deeper refrigerator, five inches more, and an undermount workstation sink for extra workspace in my kitchen. The AJ Madison sales rep helped me find good deals. I am excited and can't wait to see my new appliances in my kitchen.

Going the extra mile!

I wanted to purchase the installation package from the carrier after the 48" CAFE dual fuel oven was delivered. I called AJ and asked them to help me with the process. They were relentless in reaching out to the carrier, kept me updated throughout the process, and was able to arrange the installation. This is my third purchase from AJ and I about to make a fourth because the service is exceptional and that is what really matters to me!!

Missing fridge handle and poor response from customer service

I ordered an undercounter wine fridge and an undercounter beverage fridge. One of them was missing the handle. Just wasn't in the box. This was documented by the delivery company. Customer service says they are trying to get a response from the manufacturer but nothing so far. It's been three weeks since delivery. Customer service is saying it's the manufacturers fault and doesn't seem to care too much. I will end up having to order this $85 part myself.

Horrible experience with this company

Horrible experience with this company. Paid 3800.00 for a new washer and dryer. The washer delivered didn’t work and the dryer install kit had a broken piece. They refuse to send out a new washer, instead making us go through the manufacturer. They also refuse to send out a new piece for the dryer saying they have to check with the delivery company first. I paid 3800 for a new washer and dryer, I expected a working brand new washer and dryer to be delivered to me, not one that had to be fixed right out of the box. Ridiculous!!

Should be a no star review

It's a shame they don't offer a 'no star' option as that would have been my honest review. Dryer was due to be delivered over a week ago - I have since spent that week chasing AJ Madison with various associates promising to call me back and failing to do so. On one occasion they informed me the item was on a truck to dispatch - that was Thursday - I recorded my call where I made it clear if they didn't get back with a secured time slot I wanted a refund on Friday, neither a call nor a refund was received. I spent close to 2 hours on the phone with them on Monday where again they informed me the item was with the dispatch company and they would call me back - I refused and asked them to call the dispatch company while I was put on hold - they came back to admit the item was not with dispatch and could not be located. I then asked them to issue a check for a refund and either Fedex or courier to my home which would allow me to purchase another dryer. While waiting for them to figure this out they insultingly offered another machine for an extra $100 (so spend more money with a disreputable company) but again couldn't guarantee a delivery so obviously this ridiculous offer was declined. Am still on hold waiting to see when I will get my refund as they are saying they have no ability to get it to me which is outrageous given that I live just over an hour from their head office and Fedex or a courier would easily get it to me overnight or same day.

One appliance turned into 4

I needed a new oven replacement quickly when mine caught fire. I went to AJ Madison and saw that there was a sale if I bought a whole set. I hadn’t planned on getting everything then, but I was planning on replacing the kitchen appliances by the end of the year.
I ended up getting a set of LG kitchen appliances. They were delivered quickly. The delivery was professional and well done. I didn’t pay for the installation, and had that done separately. I had an issue trying to get the rebate. A web message to customer service did not get the reply I needed. I hoped that Collin would be better. I was dreading the call, as we all do! I was connected with Lalo. She was very courteous, understood exactly what I needed, and sent me an email with links and instructions. If only all customer service centers had people like that!
I really enjoyed being able to shop and compare the items online, without the hassle of a sales person. I researched the items I was interested in and looked them up for reviews as well as searching them on consumer reports. It is only two months in, but I am very happy so far with my purchase and the process. This is my second purchase through AJ Madison, and I continue to be pleased with the value and quality that they offer.

Poor delivery and no promised installation

Their delivery partner, AM Home Delivery, was really disappointing. They took 3 weeks to arrange for local delivery and then when they showed up for delivery, they did not even know they were supposed to install the cooktop. After spending almost an hour at our house, they told us they don't install these type of cooktops. We now are scrambling to find someone to do the install.

Communication we support was fast & helpful

Communication with support was fast, clear and helpful. The delivery and installation teams were very professional. Great job, guys!

Customer Service Poor After Purchase

I was asked to mention reps by name, those reps are Grace and Jessica. AJ Madison customer service was great, pre-delivery. Post-Delivery, they disappear.

One of the two appliances I ordered did not function out of the box as it should have. The issue is the igniter on the dryer, which is impossible to diagnose while the delivery guys are there. AJ Madison will only help if you refuse delivery and detect issues upon delivery. Nearly impossible when it's an internal part like an igniter. So, AJ Madison was unable to help, they turfed me to Speed Queen. Contact info provided by AJ Madison leads to a voice prompt only, no human, no support. So an internal problem with the machine that was undetectable at delivery is now an immediate cost to get a $1000+ laundry machine functioning. I'd stay away from AJ Madison, and speed queen based on this customer service experience.
