Booked a cambelt and water pump replacement with AK Mobile Mechanic, and I have to say the whole experience from start to finish was truly exceptional!!! He was such a humble, friendly guy, and his communication was fantastic. I really wanted to make sure the job was done to a high standard, and he answered all the questions I had, and also used the most premium quality parts and didn't take any shortcuts!! I dropped my car to him the night before the work and rather than me having to catch several buses home he even gave me a lift home, 12 miles!! The car is now running like a dream and I can't recommend his service enough!! Absolutely phenomenal!! Thank you AK Mobile Mechanic!!!

I am ecstatic to have found such an amazing mechanic. He is reliable, trustworthy, honest, highly skilled, polite, friendly and kind.
From start to finish his communication was excellent. He kept me updated on timings every step of the way! I will never use another mechanic again!

Poor communication and an unprofessional response
Review
AK Mobile Mechanics worked on my car on the 17th. As soon as he left, I messaged him within 30 seconds to say there was a fault. He replied and said he would come back the next day to put it right. He never returned and I heard nothing further from him.
From the 17th to the 30th there was no communication at all. No update. No follow up. No attempt to resolve the issue he said he would fix.
On the 30th I contacted him once. I explained that I needed to take the car to another garage because I had waited nearly two weeks with no response. I also said I would seek reimbursement for the unresolved part of the job. My message was polite.
His reply was hostile. He accused me of being difficult. He claimed I was being aggressive which was not true. His response was defensive, personal and completely out of proportion to a single follow up message after almost two weeks of silence on his side.
The job on the 17th created a fault. He promised to put it right the next day then disappeared. The lack of communication and the attitude when I followed up were unacceptable.
