I ordered goods via website and they are still showing as awaiting shipment. Despite them saying that if out of stock you will receive an email I have heard nothing. I have therefore tried to cancel the order. The freephone number they give is faulty according to BT. The email address they give comes back as undeliverable and a permanent error. They have not replied to text on the mobile number they offer and have not responded to a voicemail message. Do not use them is my advice.

It says much about a company that ignores customer emails but will respond on a public forum such as this.
I actually did not receive all of the order there were three items outstanding that never arrived and despite emailing Ala cook to follow this up numerous times, I received no response.

I ordered two identical items from A-la-cook but two weeks later I had not received them and the order status was still showing 'pending shipment'. I rang them twice and left a message both times but nobody bothered to return my call. I then received an email from them explaining that they had been waiting for stock and they would be shipped the next day. Another week went by and they had not arrived and the order status was still showing 'pending shipment'. I have sent them another email, but the main issue here is total lack of communication on their part.
