Hassle free, easy to do online

Love this company for insurance so easy 2 fill in the forms feel at ease with this insurance going through chemotherapy and taken tablets for this was a very understanding company very satisfied would definitely always get my insurance from this company and would recommend this 2 the people that are thinking about taken insurance out for holidays amazing company

In November 2025 I renewed our annual joint travel insurance with this company, as we had booked a Christmas cruise that departed on 19th December 2025.On the 1st December my wife was admitted to hospital with a bad cough, she was discharged after four nights in prefect health and an appointment in late January for a follow-up.Doctors advised that she was fit to travel.As required I tried to notify Albert & Eddie but noticed that no policy was attached to my name on their customer portal,so I therefore notified the parent company,(Collinsons),directly.I won't bore you with the details but ultimately they withdrew cover on my wife three days before the cruise departed, took three months to compensate us for the cancellation,(despite their own medical team ADVISING US TO CANCEL),and generally the whole thing being a total shambles.As if to add insult to injury, I contacted Albert & Eddie to find out if the policy still covered me,(their portal still doesn't show any policy attached to my name),whereupon I get a reply stating that my wife is no longer covered,(nothing about me),and no refund is due because the policy has been claimed upon. In other words, an annual policy is not an annual policy...should they withdraw cover at the last minute for one person, apparently the policy no longer covers the other, and if you make a claim as they themselves advised the policy is cancelled.So not an annual policy at all, and also professional medical opinion means nothing, they will withdraw cover at the drop of a hat.So for all these reasons,(plus the dreadful customer service from their parent company Collinsons,which I have reviewed separately),I cannot recommend them.And I'll make one further comment: I initially chose Albert & Eddie/Holidaysafe because they seemed to be very good value for covering an existing incurable medical condition.It seems you get what you pay for...

Hopefull I won't have to claim but if I do I will be in a better position to comment.

Although I needed to input quite a bit of information, the website was easy to navigate. It was worth the effort though, as the quotes I received were far lower than going directly to the individusl websites

I did not have to use the travel insurance whilst I was away, when I filled the application form in I didn't have any problems, not like other insurance companies.
