The only issue preventing me giving 5 stars was the way my parcel was delivered. The shoe box had no additional protection so when received it looked like it had been sat on and the paper sticker seal... See more

It’s a shame how bad the company is…
It’s a shame how bad the company is since being acquired by private equity. Another brand ruined by crazy growth plans. Don’t waste your money!!!!
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. I bought a pair of shoes and sent them back for a size exchange, but it's been almost a month and I haven't received any email from them. Don't buy Allbirds!!! At this point I don't want the shoes anymore, I want my money back and speak with a real person not AI responses.
Company gone downhill
I love Allbirds shoes. They are very comfortable, especially for someone like me with wide feet. I normally have a hard time finding shoes that fit me comfortably but after buying my first pair I thought that I had found a perfect company. Unfortunately, the company was recently acquired by American Exchange Group and since then the customer service has been going downhill fast. I ordered my most recent pair before a trip to see my parents out of state. When checking out the provided delivery window fit entirely within my trip so I ordered the shoes to my parents' house, but the order never even left the warehouse. After the order failed to ship by the end of the provided delivery window, I went to contact customer support. Allbirds took down their phone customer service line and only provided an email address for contact. I sent an email asking for the delivery address to be updated to my home and asked for them to expedite the delivery since they had missed the window. While they did update the delivery address they refused to expedite the delivery (after ignoring the request initially). The customer service rep, Angeline, claimed that the delivery window was only an estimate and was based on the time after the shipment leaves the warehouse, information listed nowhere on their website. At this point, I've been told I have to wait 2 weeks from placing my order for the order to be shipped and only then will I get an updated delivery time or then I can request an inquiry. The rep claims this is because they are facing high demand but it took me contacting them to hear this. The service has been horrendous and has clearly been decimated as a cost cutting measure. They have no interest in helping their customers and I urge people not to shop with Allbirds anymore. I am still waiting of my shoes to ship and based on the other reviews I am seeing, I am preparing to file a claim with my credit card company for fraud.
Item never shipped
Item never shipped. Customer service acknowledges receipt, but refuses to offer when it can be shipped. They avoided answering questions, and charged me anyway. Their policy makes no sense. If you pay roughly $3 for the "easy return" service, they count that as the order "partially fulfilled" an unable to be cancelled. I'm going to have to file a claim with my credit card. Do not buy from this company!
Amazing shoes and customer service
No sign of the shoes!!?
No sign of the shoes!!??
Emailed and no response - no sign of the shoes being delivered and no message to explain why.
Certainly would never order again! (Even if these do ever arrive)!
Beware now company has been taken over.
I ordered a pair of shoes and an extra pair of insoles on 15.06.26. The shoes and insoles have finally been delivered this afternoon, 01.07.26.
I will NEVER order with Allbirds again. I used to love these shoes when they first became available in the UK, the quality was great and I loved the fact they were sustainable.
This time, when I placed the order on 13.06 it was dispatched very quickly, on 15.06, with Evri. Except it wasn't. The tracking number provided on the Allbirds page didn't work on Evri tracking as it had 7 digits and Evri tracking has 8 or 16 digits. Thus ensued no less than 3 emails to Allbirds customer services, none of which garnered a response. Also sent a text as this was a suggested means of communication. Also ignored.
In desperation and not knowing what else to do I rang the store in London on Monday 22.06.26. The manager there, Georgia, was very helpful and managed to get customer services to email me. They gave me a new number for a replacement order. Nice, friendly email. All good.
Except it wasn't again. When there was no dispatch email I again emailed customer services as advised but again received no response at all for 4 days. Again, I phoned the store in London, not knowing what else to do. A different manager said he'd contacted the warehouse and that the order would be delivered the next day. It wasn't. I was all ready to call the store again today, when, lo and behold, a message came through (from DPD this time) to say the delivery would be this afternoon. And it did arrive. I could hardly believe it.
The shoes are OK. The quality has dropped significantly and the insoles are about half the thickness of the original, worn out insoles that were in the shoes bought about 7 years ago (when they only did two styles). I suppose I should be grateful that they arrived at all.
I do wonder whether this company are now in trouble. They’ve very recently been bought out I believe. Operate out of the US. Also, they have removed all reviews from their website. There is no option to read or leave a review on there.
I would strongly advise everyone to avoid this company now. Very sad as they were so great to begin with.
No response. Avoid - may have gone under?!
I have not received my item and the delivery company cannot locate the item - I question whether it was ever sent. This company seems to have completely gone silent, and no matter how I attempt to get a response (email, SMS, instagram) there is nothing they will respond to. Based on their lack of social media updates,
I wonder if they have folded and are illegally accepting orders they have no intend to fulfil! I will be disputing my credit card transaction at the first available opportunity and would thoroughly advise prospective buyers to stay clear. Such a shame, as a previous buyer, I’m a big fan of the product!
From "most comfortable shoe ever" to unwearable
I loved my original tree runners - most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Their "new and improved" manufacturing and materials are absolutely not improved, just cheaper. I wish I could have returned the tree runner NZ I got and purchased the last of the original tree runners, but I wore them outside for a day (and destroyed the back of my ankles in the process).
BUYERS BEWARE!!
BUYERS BEWARE!!
Order at own risk as you are unlikely to receive the items!!! I’ve been chasing them now for over a week and they are not responding to emails or messages. My items were meant to arrive early last week but the delivery company said they never recieved the parcel from Allbirds. I’ve tried all means to communicate with them to see whether the parcel is on its way or lost and therefore to arrange a refund but they are not responding. I think it’s a massive risk ordering from them given the selling off of the shoe company aspect of the business but given they are still showing new arrivals etc I believed that the company had been taken over and was carrying on but now I am not so sure. They shouldn’t be entering into contracts with consumers and failing to deliver the goods but still taking the money!!!
Once my favorite shoes. Now a company I won’t buy from.
I used to love Allbirds, my Tree Runners in particular. The company lost my loyalty though. My most recently purchased Tree Runners had a defect that made them unwearable (I suspect related to a decline in the quality of materials and construction). I emailed customer service about the problem. I received a response that parroted back what I told them with feigned sympathy and offered zero options for resolving the problem. That is not customer service. It’s a slap in the face to a loyal customer. I replied asking again for a remedy. I’ve received no further response. Allbirds lost me by not valuing my business. It’s a shame because they once made my favorite shoes.
You charge €15 for returns from…
You charge €15 for returns from Ireland. But you also charge €10 to deliver to Ireland. At least you could cover delivery or returns.
In overall, since the company went public and then changed ownership, the choice of models are not varied and various corners are being cut, even small things like your slogan being removed from the inside of the boxes and paper shoe holders too.
Comfort personified
First pair of all birds I had as a gift. I immediately bought 2 more as I didn’t want to be without them ever again. Great comfort and so well designed. The fact that they are eco is the icing on the cake
Buyer Beware!!
Buyer Beware!!! I would give less stars if it was an option. I purchased a pair of Allbirds - NOT marked final sale, even on the day of my contact with customer service. The shoes are too large and not comfortable. I even purchased the $3 ‘free but not really free’ return shipping. When I contacted customer service for assistance returning the shoes, I was told I needed to send pictures so my return could be approved. No problem. They were never worn. Pictures sent. Then I was told the shoes were ‘final sale’ and not able to be returned. When I pulled them up on the website, they were still marked NEW, not Final Sale!! Consequently, I am in $85 for shoes I cannot wear and cannot return.
Shameful and deceptive business practices !!! DO NOT BUY!
Delivery issue but they put it right quickly
I ordered spearmint in UK size 9 and received dark blue in size 5.5; the order confirmation showed that the correct item was ordered. However, they responded quickly to my e mail and organised the replacement promptly
Allbirds makes it impossible to…
Allbirds makes it impossible to communicate with them regarding a return. They no longer accept phone calls. Emails have been ignored. Finally someone responded and they sent an email with a broken link to print my label. Four emails later that they haven’t responded to and any inquiries now to return are rejected bc it’s outside the 30 day window.
They give you the third degree if anything is wrong
Allbirds has a completely fake, impossible to pass returns process that makes ordering shoes a hellscape. I ordered a pair of shoes. I paid extra for "returns protection." They didn't fit, so I exchanged them for a smaller size, no problem. Unfortunately, the smaller size still did not fit. I tried to return them, the website said they were "final sale." So I reached out to customer service and was told since I had exchanged them once, that counted as a return so now they couldn't be returned. When I questioned them about this, they backtracked and said they could consider a return of these totally new shoes if I verified they were "unworn, unwashed and with original product tags." I said they are unworn other than me trying them on, unwashed, and didn't come with product tags. Then they grilled me about the fact that I tried on the shoes as that counts as "worn," and made me submit a ton of photos of every part of the shoe. After I did that, the photos looked okay so they then asked "where are the product tags?" The shoes didn't come with tags--what shoes have tags on them? So they obviously are not allowing any returns under the guise of having customer service. I've never heard of a SHOE company that doesn't allow you to try on a shoe, or return a shoe that doesn't fit. This after trying to replace a pair that I've LOVED and worn since 2020.
Comfiest shoes ever.
Comfiest shoes ever.
Also like the minimalist designs and how you can chuck them in the wash.
This company goes above and beyond
This company goes above and beyond. I messed up an order and had to quickly submit another order. I messaged them and they were quick enough to catch the first order and cancel it for me. The second correct order was delivered today in time for my son's trip. What an amazing company and team of people.
