This company say a property is safe , when it could collapse on the new buyers head potentially killing them.

Take no responsibility and try to bully there way out of blame. They post pictures that are not of the same part of the house to avoid responsibility

Allied say “they could not inspect the ceiling because the the flooring had furniture on it.”

We even have a structural engineer report confirming it. Still they bury their heads in the sand.

This behaviour not only overinflated the property price but could kill someone and they don’t care

I have over some years obtained advice on local property values and related matters from Simon Breeze who practices from Allied Surveyors Haddington Office. Having been based there for some time I have found him to be very up to date and knowledgeable of the housing market in East Lothian. Over the last year he has both valued property for me and has just advised on a suitable rent. I would accordingly have no hesitation in recommending his services which he undertakes in a professional, prompt and efficient manner.

Dreadful company, grossly underestimated the value of my home and took £540 for the privilege. Was recommended by Estate Agent also in Hamilton. Never again.

Iain provided an excellent service, was extremely professional. He kept me right throughout the process, communicated clearly and in a timely manner.
Although under the current climate the process took quite a while longer than is normal, Iain remained patient and supportive throughout.

This company is to be avoided at all costs! Very unprofessional, ignorant and inaccurate. I had a pre-sale valuation done by couple of estate agents and another surveyor, which was roughly the same and then came Allied Surveyor's rep Jim Harold who was late, was in the property for about 5 minute (did not even entered all rooms) and valued the property 50K less then other professionals! His valuation was primarily based on the price I paid for the property few years ago with no consideration whatsoever to total house remodelling including masonry, all around heating systems, new bathrooms, new kitchen, etc. as well as 'apparent' comparison of similar properties-which was an utter lie, as surrounding properties were sold way above the price of my property. Only after his horrendous misdemeanour I was told by one of the estate agents that this man is known in the area for such behaviours and noone should let him in for any surveys and valuations. 1 star is too much. Avoid at all costs! DESPICABLE on all levels!

I jhave used Allied Surveyors in both Glasgow and Inverness and always found their service to be excellent and value for money.

His attention to detail and friendly - but always professional advice and guidance - helped make the entire process as painless as possible. Iain Mercer was very efficient in identifying a suitable property and negotiating acceptable terms to buy. Everything done calmly, promptly, politely and professionally.

Didn't have the same service standard as depicted here. Had to chase for 3 weeks before getting a report. That was pre-covid.
I was dealing with the Hamilton office, property in ML11 7BH. That was a disappointing experience.

We have been dealing with Iain Mercer from Allied Surveyors and he has been informative, patient and polite. Having never leased anywhere before Iain's knowledge about the process was invaluable. Highly recommended

Iain was super; very effective at finding me a tenant, even under challenging circumstances due to Covid19 and he was always upbeat and positive about what my property could achieve, in spite of the current climate. All the signage and marketing paid off and I got a few viewings with a new tenant signed up very quickly. The service was very professional and I was looked after very well during the whole process with lots of communication about what was going on.

Excellent service from Iain once again, wouldn’t trust anybody else with our properties.
