I took three bags into the store and…

I took three bags into the store and explained the repairs I needed done. It took 8 months for Ally Capellino to complete the repairs, in that time stating staff absences and a broken repairs machine (surely if your machines broken you either get the machine fixed in a timely manner, or outsource it to be repaired, otherwise surely you shouldn't be offering repairs services). During the 8 months I was contacted four times by four different people to ask what repairs needed doing, after I'd had a thorough conversation with someone about this when I initially took the bags in store. I visited the store four times in this period as no one contacted me to say the bags were ready, and when they did contact me I went to the store and the couldn't find one of the bags they were repairing for me. It says something about how chaotic this business is as they didn't seem to know what was going on at any time. Thoroughly disappointed with this inept repairs service.

I love my transparent Frank and always…

I love my transparent Frank and always get lots of comments. The staff were great and very helpful. I also love that the shop is still going in these tough economic times. The owner and founder was in the shop when I went in one day and she is a super interesting character. Great fun talking to her.

Awesome customer service

Brilliant experience. Ricardo and Katherine couldn't have done more to help me with repairs on two beloved rucksacks. Despite the predicted 2 week turnaround, they made both repairs within 4 days in order to accommodate a trip of mine. Not only this but the fee for the repairs came in at less what they had originally quoted. Thank you Team AC!

Great shopping experience - lovely bags

I really enjoyed shopping at Ally Capellino. They have a variety of bags, all very well designed and so different from mass-produced bags. I was not familiar with the brand but was told it's been around for several decades. It embodies British quality and design with sturdy material, which I find reminiscent of Barbour products (only more colourful). I bought a Hank WUW Waxed Cotton Backpack in Peach, lovely colours and really well designed. As for the shopping experience itself, the staff are helpful and really nice, creating a super positive vibe. I'm happy to leave a good review because it seems they had a complicated interaction with a previous customer. My only regret is that I did not get the big black rucksack. I'll have to go back or order online. If you're in London, I'd recommend visiting the shop because the website photos actually don't do them justice.

Accueil chaleureux, qualité des produits et situation super

I went with my daughter to the Ally Capellino boutique, which is in a very nice area. We were greeted with a big smile and a sense of humour. I bought a ‘froggie’ leather key ring, which is very pretty, stylish and ultra-practical for easily finding my keys in my big bag. I recommend this shop for the quality of its products, its warm welcome and its location: at the end of the street there's an old kiosk nestling in the heart of a green space!

Beware ! Damaged goods

sent item which had marks on, called and sales person who i sent photos too agreed it was marked and they sent another, the second was very creased and under quality but couldnt send back at first as postbag was ripped and postcode scribbled out and unclear had to return later. Called and they seemed uninterested to help any more, actually complainiing it had cost to send a post bag ! and inconvienced them !!! Spoke to another person who agreed a partial refund but then i asked if another return could happen, ignored again then told i would have to pay refund, which is not the legal situation with damaged goods. Then ignored then told the store persons ADHD was difficult for her !! she then completlely changed her own comments saying bag wasnt damaged but has anomalies !! I called asking to speak to somone else 5 times but was continually ignored , interupted shouted at and then she put phone down, i see this has happened to other people ! wow, they have serious customer aggressive service issues and are very weird , i cannot use them and they have left the issue outstanding .i Advise caution to others as abuse is not worth a bag .They have zero training and actually do not care about customers or have any clue about consumer rights , well off key ! Beware. This women has now written utter crap as a so called reply - harassment is not calling 3 times after i was told to call !! Idiotic comment Negative reviews are given to companies who fail i also have another account with top reviews for many well deserving companies - The information from the company is incorrect and manipulated other reviews prove this behaviour happens . Legally damaged products mean the company pays - they are still trying to get out of this deranged behaviour- shameful to insult a customer after behaving like this Blocked as customer !!!!! Seriously think i would come back - delusional as well . I now have no idea what you are talking about Kathryn i quoted consumer rights which is legally the company pays for it damaged goods that was agreed -your idea pf replacing failed didnt and then the other ignored. You are rude untrained and a liar . You scream at customers when you dont get your own way. I hope This Company can get the help it needs .Yet again totally fabriacted information. i asked for courier more than 5 times and still ignored .i again explained the legal regulations . i was making the suggestions and got nothing but abusive conduct. Katryn you have now just written 6 replies and deleted them to bully me and lie ??Stop harassing and goading me- me. This is not normal behaviour or conduct of a shop assistant ! i said i would not speak to kathryn about 10 times but she just doesnt stop! As said kathryn i am not dealing with you the issue is over - Please do not continue or feign ‘ best wishes ‘when you where screaming at me when i asked you not to contact me - not sure what you do not understand here ?? And demanding i return the bag suddenly after you ignored me for a month - i not dealing with you Katryn - stop harassing me.

I also have zero interest in how great you think you are when you have behaved disgracefully. i reported you to consumer rights and they state i was correct and that one other person has also complained about you and your behaviour. Ally capellino - best customer service (and products amazing too)

Ally capellino's bags are so beautifully made and durable. But the reason i am writing this today is because of their customer service. I have been so well looked after! I bought one of their key chain lanyards years ago...literally about 12y maybe and the key holder bit is still going strong but sadly the bit that goes around my neck broke. So i emailed them and they have made me a new on at a minimal cost and were so helpful and responsive. This restores my faith in businesses...the attention to detail was amazing. Have now received my lanyard and i am a VERY happy customer. THANK YOU Ally Capellino team! you rock x

Yet another mistake by this company

Yet another mistake by this company. A grey bag arrived today rather than a bright blue one. Either the packer can’t read or is colour blind. Or perhaps the employees just don’t care. Customers must return goods at their own cost …. That in itself is dreadful customer care in this day and age. Last year, I ordered a hugely expensive rucksack for my holiday and despite receiving confirmation of the sale, it never arrived. I phoned and spoke to a very relaxed lady who simply said the rucksack had sold out and it wouldn’t be coming. I think she said a casual sorry but there was no feeling of apology or responsibility. The bag was still available on their website and they had taken my money. Absolute clowns. Don’t order directly from them. I think it’s a lucky dip when orders are packed.
