If there was an option lower than 1 i would select that, ive been waiting over a month for a refund on order 33924637 and repeatedly going round in circles on there chat. There customer service telephone does not work in the uk, they dont reply to emails and they repeatedly lie about getting back to you. Looking at the other reviews it seems im not alone

Refund Outstanding – Conflicting Policies & Lack of Transparency

My recent experience with returns has been extremely disappointing.

I lodged two returns and the parcels were accepted into the retailer’s designated logistics network using their official prepaid labels. Tracking confirmed the parcels were received and processed within their logistics partner’s system. Despite this, I was later told the returns were “lost,” even though they were already inside the company’s own returns network.

What followed was over a month of delays, escalations, and inconsistent information:

• The return portal stated refunds are issued within 7 business days after receipt
• Live chat advised 5–7 business days
• Email support later stated 15–21 business days after warehouse delivery
• Another agent said the refund would be processed within 2 business days due to the inconsistency

That’s four different timeframes for the same returns.

I was also not informed at purchase that international returns are consolidated through a third-party freight process, which can significantly delay warehouse receipt and refund timelines. This materially affects customers but isn’t clearly disclosed.

After multiple escalations and ongoing vague responses, the parcels were declared lost in transit by the retailer. The refund was ultimately processed more than a month later, and only after persistent follow-up.

This experience showed a lack of transparency, consistency, and accountability that I would not expect from a premium brand. At this stage, I am reconsidering future purchases.

I ordered an item 11 days ago it was…

I ordered an item 11 days ago it was £118 not cheap!!! It still hasn’t been shipped it was a gift for my daughter. And it never arrived on time for her. I’ve been on live chat and they are a joke!!! I wanted a refund but they won’t give me one. They said all the orders are delayed!!! What a joke!!!!!!😡

Terrible customer service

Somehow my package got switched in transit with someone elses. I ended up receiving a Nintendo ds game. I realize this wasn't alo's fault, however the shipping company told me I needed to contact the shipper. I did the chat and they asked me to send them pictures and I'd be contacted within 48 to 72 hours. I wasn't contacted, so I did another chat and they said it was in progress. After a week I contacted them again and they said there were too many inconsistencies and there was nothing they could do and to have a wonderful day. I emailed them back and said that was unacceptable and I wanted my issue escalated to management. It's been two weeks and no one has contacted me.

My husband and I were able to figure who received our package with a phone number that was in the package. Luckily they were a decent person and replied to us and we made arrangements to switch the packages but we needed to drive 6 hours (3 hours there and 3 hours back).

I am so disappointed, I will never order online from them again. We had gone to a store in Toronto and the staff were amazing and the quality of what we got was really good but they need a major over haul on their customer service. With a company this large they should be able to make things rights when something goes wrong. It was a very expensive order for us but would have been immaterial to them.

Exchange Mishandled After Weeks of Delays

I purchased a Sherpa trench in January and received it without any issues, but it was too large. I processed an online exchange for a replacement that showed as in stock and returned the original item. On 1/29, I received confirmation that Alo had received the package and that the exchange was being processed.

Two weeks later, having received no updates, I reached out and was told the replacement had been processed and would ship within a day or two. After another two weeks passed with no shipment, I contacted customer service again — this time I was told the item was actually out of stock, had never shipped, and that I would be refunded.

Four weeks with no communication, only to be told it’s out of stock and that’s the end of it. Extremely disappointing experience. I won’t be purchasing from this brand again.

Dreadful returns and refund issues for UK customers

Absolutely gorgeous products however their returns process is a shambles!
Spent a lot of money on a large online order sent back two jackets totalling circa £450 nearly a month ago, the order was received on 16th of Feb, chased for refund they said there was an issue with my return being lost or stuck in their system it’s not moved at all since the 16th. Two friends having the same issues with this company and now I am discovering why they have such a low Trustpilot rating. I will not be ordering from them online again. In this modern time of so much competition in this space, it’s dangerous to offer this level of service regardless of how good the products are. I will spend my money with LuLu Lemon who appreciate the value of decent customer service and have the proper eco system in place to support returns for UK customers.

Update 28 Feb received an email advising as a gesture of goodwill they have processed my refund!
It’s such a shame as love their clothing however I will not be shopping online with Alo ever again, they need to sort out their eco-system.
There is also no one in the UK monitoring or replying to their Trust Pilot reviews in the UK that says it all.

I returned my product two months ago…

I returned my product two months ago and I still have not received my refund. They owe me €160, and despite sending multiple emails, I have received no response at all. This is completely unacceptable.

Keeping a customer’s money for this long without any communication is extremely unprofessional and feels dishonest. I have been patient, but two months is more than enough time to process a simple refund.

I strongly advise others to think twice before ordering from this company. If something goes wrong, you may struggle to get your money back. Very disappointing experience.

responding to repeated requests for a return or exchange mailing label...Two pair of yoga pants purchased for Christmas . The only response I have gotten is that It is past the time to return or exchange...
well, I never got a response during the time frame so I
have wasted money and will never purchase or order from them again. Other reviews are equally negative...I'm surprised that they are still in business.

EXPENSIVE AND POOR QUALITY IN THE SWEATPANTS

As much as Alo charges for their sweatpants you would think it’s beautiful quality……ummm no. I purchased the Serenity Wide Leg Sweatpants in every color, they ALL PILLED AFTER THE FIRST WASH N WEAR. I washed in cold and air dry. Horrible quality. SO DISAPPOINTED. Shipping is super long, returns are a nightmare. It’s obvious Alo is doing well in money so seems like we could get better quality.

What a shambles!!!

I placed a large order (Order #34345297) on 6th February totalling over £1,300 for 16 items and have only received one t-shirt, with the rest of the order missing. I have been emailing customer service for over a week with absolutely no response — no update, no explanation, nothing. For a company of this size, this level of customer service is shocking. Spending over £1,300 and being completely ignored is unacceptable, and I am extremely disappointed. I expect this to be resolved urgently.

Disappointing customer service

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience returning items to this company.

I followed the return instructions provided with my order, which stated I could book a courier collection where the driver would bring a return label. However, when I tried to arrange this, that option didn’t exist. I contacted customer support multiple times within the return window asking for a workable solution because I don’t have access to a printer. Despite providing all requested information, I either received generic replies or no response at all.

Because of their incorrect instructions and lack of support, I was left unable to return my items within the timeframe through no fault of my own. I’ve now had to open a PayPal dispute just to get this resolved.

Customer service should not make a simple return this difficult. Until this is addressed, I would strongly advise others to be cautious when ordering, especially if you don’t have easy access to printing facilities.

Absolutely appalling. Ordered a jacket and waited 3 weeks, emailed to be told it’s on its way. The next day I received an email to say sorry the item is out of stock. I emailed several times, jumped on a chat and in the end had to call. The worst of the worst for customer service. Do not trust

Dreadful

Dreadful - still waiting for a refund nearly 3 weeks later since Alo received my returned item.
Alo keep changing their refund timeline - the first email i received said 7 days, the next one said 10 days and now its 15-21 (working) days - absolutely appalling to have to wait up to 1 month for a refund and for them to keep changing their minds on when they will actually refund. So i now have to keep chasing. I will never order from Alo again.
