The boiler engineer was took his time to carefully make sure the boiler was serviced. I am very happy with the outcome.

Very friendly and professional engineer attended to service our boiler today, spotted two issues that needed sorting out and promptly got on with doing that. We have always had excellent customer service from Alpha, and if and when our boiler needs replacing we will definitely be using them again. Very good all round service, as always.

Communication from Alpha and the engineer was excellent. Repair was executed quickly and without fuss. Only down side was that initially Alpha did not recognise that this boiler was registered with extended warranty and it took about 18 months for this to be corrected. Warranty repair was then done without issue.

Rang 9 a.m.Saturday morning with no hot water. By Tuesday still not heard anything. Turns out they had sent job to a plumber who was on holiday and was never going to contact me. Now waiting for another week for someone else to turn up who I have had before and they are very good, but overworked. Left another message but no-one at the office calls me back. As I am 75 I don't appreciate being treated like this and it is not the first time it has happened. No way I will be renewing this "BoilerCare" contract as a very similar thing happened in the past - they sent a job to someone who was unavailable. I will have been without hot water for 12 days by next week. Is this acceptable?

This company provides an atrocious 'service' for want of another word. The new boiler that was installed was faulty and they couldn't figure out what was wrong. For weeks I had no hot water, let alone heating. I never even got an apology.
I also took out a service agreement. The one time I needed the boiler to be checked over I was told that my service agreement didn't actually cover this. All it pays for is an engineer to come once a year to service the boiler, if you're lucky. They pick a date and time and if you try to change it, you have a battle at your hands! To them communication is a very one sided process. Frequently they don't show up because previous jobs take longer than expected. This happenes so often, every single time since Covid, that one wonders why they don't include this in their scheduling! You only find out if you got dropped off the call sheet if you call in. There is absolutely no communication from the engineer or the office otherwise. Well, why should they communicate with you, you're just the customer. If you ring them you easily wait half an hour in line, which makes booking a new visit difficult. I can honestly say that in the ten yrs I had the service agreement, at least a third of the time my boiler wasn't service and I never got offered a rebate. When you talk to them they just have one excuse after the other and are very condescending. It is very apparent that Alpha is extremely disrespectful towards their clients and takes us all for fools. I hate talking to them as customer service, including the women, are so condescending to me as a female client. I will never buy an Alpha boiler again and I feel it's time to cancel the rather expensive non-service agreement.

All our dealings with Alpha so far have been efficient and pleasant.
Engineer arrived on time. He was very friendly and patient.
He was very knowledgeable and informative. We felt we could trust the advice he gave us for the future dealings with Alpha

On the negative side Alpha doesn't send any reminders that my boiler needs servicing and when I phoned them I was told they would phone me back. A week later I had to phone them again and this time said they would phone me back and did a couple of days later. The people I talked with were polite and helpful but I think that as I am in the care plan a reminder is a must.
On the plus side, once the service was arranged, everything went smoothly. The engineer called to let me know what time he was arriving. He arrived when he said he would and his work was quick clean and efficient. No complaints.
