I have had the alu-haus windows since 2018. We have one large bifold and 11 windows from them in triple glazing. The quality of the windows is very high and we have had many compliments.

There were a few small issued that need rectifying and it took a few phone calls over a number of months to get resolved. But, in the end they did resolve all the small install issues.

The windows and doors have all worn very well and we are very happy with the product

I’ve updated my review and score to take into account that Alu Haus are part way through the remedial work to get the bifold door and A frame window finished to a good standard. Whilst we’re not quite there the team involved have been great and understand our concerns and appreciate that we have been let down by the fitting team who have since left the firm. The original review is below but feeling much better about Alu Haus now that they’ve stepped in to get the job up to the standard we were promised.

Firstly I'm not a habitual complainer, having never left a negative Trustpilot review before but on this occasion I can't let it slide.

We've spent over £10k with Alu-Haus this year replacing a 2 patio doors and new bi-folds with a a-frame window above them. No questioning the quality of the doors which is top notch but the fitting on the bi-fold and window above have been shocking and now they won't respond to us despite their own surveyor visiting our home and reporting back that the fitting was substandard.

The a-frame window is off centre so the apex of the ceiling doesn't marry up to the apex of the window, this is due to them not putting the correct thickness of wood within the steel frame that we had fitted at their request (another £3k of expense).

They have fitted white UPVC trim around the door which is bad enough however this was spray painted to match the black/grey doors, suffice to say that spray painted UPVC is about as much use as colouring it in with a felt tip pen. The fitting of the trims is shoddy at best and now with white showing through it looks worse than it did before we paid to have them replaced.

The pity is that a day of work would probably see our problems resolved but the firm don't seem to care about customer service and are happy to have our money on the bank.

Would definitely look elsewhere before ordering through Alu-Haus, you've been warned!
