Preparation time cut by half.

Well... I need the transcripts for my teaching job. So your services have cut my preparation time by more than half. The transcripts, even the machine-generated ones, are accurate, reliable and fast. I have to check that the division into sentences/utterances is correct, but otherwise they are accurate. Once (I can't remember exactly when) I had to contact your helpdesk. The file was not uploaded correctly, but the payment was deducted. Your staff was helpful and solved the problem within an hou. So keep up the good work! Thank you ;-)

Not perfect but easy to correct

The transcriptions (in Dutch) are not perfect- but in my experience none of the current systems provide perfect transcription. Amberscript provides an easy way to play back recordings and correct the transcriptions.
What I would wish is an indication where the software has skipped parts that were inaudible or untranscribable.

My Transcription Partner

I use Amberscript for interview- transcriptions since the start. Quite often my interviewees are not native English-speakers, the quality of the transcripts always amazes me. When I dictate I use Nuance, but for transcripts I usually use Amberscript and can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Excellent AI quality

I use the transcription for my dutch audio podcast episodes. It is excellent, the AI accuracy is 85% so far I transcribed 2+ hours and the accuracy is at 98%. It is worth every cent I pay because it has a lot of added value in timesstamps, speakers, and visibility on the entire script.

Amberscript is fantastic

Amberscript is a fantastic platform that I enjoy very much for my subtitling work. Its machine-transcription/subtitling is very solid, with a couple of mistakes here and there but never anything major. Its speaker detection system works most of the time, but this was not a problem for me in any significant way. It is fast, reliable and very easy to use. The only feature I wish it had was that I can get a transcript in the source language, translate it and upload the translation for time-stamping, but I realize this might be too big of an ask. Either way, I wholeheartedly recommend Amberscript to anyone needing a transcription or subtitling service!

Clear communication is the way

Given a remote environment, different languages, different time zones, different continents; clear communication goes a long way. Whenever I am in doubt, guidelines offer clear information and detailed examples on how to work with the projects. However, if I missed something, I always feel free to send an email and ask for clarification, also the quality team is patient enough to understand the learning curve, give tips and recognize whenever improvements are made. Thank you to all!

Positive experience

I have been enjoying working with Amberscript, being able to work remotely and choosing what I want to work on has been great. The process and editing platform are very friendly, easy to understand. It would be nice to have training when you start working, as you only have information in the guidelines, but there are certain things that don't appear there. You learn and gain experience with each job completed, specially with the QA corrections and feedback that comes with every job, they are helpful and enriching. Overall it has been a positive experience.

Amber should consider REMOVING THE FAQ tab from section of webpage in countdown it is a distraction to applicants

Amber script is open in going about its processes. what you see is what you. however, the website admin of the transcription test need to remove urgently, the FAQ tab there in order NOT to distract Transcribers about to take the test going into that loop and losing time that is already counting against them. the FAQ tab should be outside the countdown to test completion. anybody would think it necessary to be in compliance as a Newbie in taking the test, not realizing the time the diversion takes is counted against them in taking the fairly simple English test to be accepted as a Transcriber!
