Amerimark

Amerimark, is not a good business to deal with I purchased some items back in 2023. Not knowing the company was in transition at that time. I received a part of my order. But did not receive a pair of shoes which cost. $105.00. I reached out to them and explained that I would pay for the merchandise I received. But will not pay for something I didn't receive. They are now harassing me and threatening to report me to the credit bureaus. I paid out what I owed excluding the price of the shoes.

$14.95 a month & can't cancel

Do not remember signing up for a monthly subscription fee. Unable to get ahold of anyone to cancel it. Logged into account and no way to cancel from there. When you take the time to sit on hold, the call disconnects just before 31 minutes. Disputing through our credit card now and hoping we don't have to resort to canceling the card & contacting our other auto payments to change. Read your fine print with this company very carefully if you wish to do business with them (they are affiliated somehow with Harriet Carter sales).

I ordered different items from this…

I ordered different items from this company, and whenever I would pay my bill down to a $0 balance, the company would con me by saying they never received my payments and would still say I owe them. I will never deal with or do business with this company again and I advise anyone to also not order from them. Please do not waste your time and money.

I ordered underwear in February 2023…

I ordered underwear in February 2023 and they said I would receive it in 10-14 days. Then I hadn’t received it and called in the middle of March and was told that it would be here April 2. Called April 2 for delivery date and now I am told May 5. Are they growing the cotton and weaving it and sewing them bringing them on a slow boat from China?

I Don't want to give them any stars I will never buy anything from this company my experience was negitive all around did not like loungers description not accurate and paid shipping on order and was charged a return fee I got 11.60 cent back on a 40 dollar order Save yourself heart ache and disappointment

I ordered a sweater and the had to…

I ordered a sweater and the had to take leave of absence from work with no income coming in I returned my sweater which they said they received, but they will not issue me a refund because it was on clearance, I am not paying for something I don’t have , I
told them then sent the sweater back to me, they will not do that either, so I guess I will see you in court, I instantly closed my account and contacted my attorney. I will never order from them again.

Postage-paid return ripoff

I ordered size 10 shoes, received size seven. I was about to return the shoes using the postage-paid label when I saw the note: We will deduct 9.99 from your refund. That's more than the shoes cost. AmeriMark, you have lost a customer.

Awful customer service and ridiculous wait time

I ordered a transport wheelchair on 12/17/2022 I was told 7 to 10 days for delivery. It is now week 5! 1/21/23 all I can get from customer service is excuses! They refuse a refund because it's sitting in their warehouse where it has been for 2 weeks! At best it might get delivered in February! I didn't order this medically necessary item to have a picture of it. I need it and they don't care! If you need anything in a reasonable amount of time do not bother with this company. Terrible customer service! Ridiculous wait time!

Enrolling in memberships not requested

Not enrolling in memberships not requested. Wording your "perks" and "free shipping" so customers know there is a charge for this. For perks 14.95 was deducted from my account and 19.00 for shipments free monthly from November to present.
I have cancelled these memberships. Please remove me from text messages.

Ordered from this company and returned item

Do not order from this company. I ordered and then returned a couple items using PayPal. I discovered they have been deducting 14.95 monthly for 10 months from my account. I called 2 different “customer service” numbers! Total scam!!!.

HORRIBLE...First of all it took forever to receive…

First of all it took forever to receive my order 2 weeks plus. Then the nightgown doesn't fit my mom.. to return it will cost an insane amount. No EZ return label was sent. IT WILL COST $13-$14 to send a $18 nightgown back that I was charged additional shipping fees for to get it to me. PRF FEE $1.50 AND SURCHARGE $1.75 so my total comes to $24.11 with tax. This company is horrible if you want to return something. Ill never order from them again.

I bought 8 items a few months ago..

I bought 8 items months back. And I just notice on my bank statement they have been deducting 14.95 for a membership I didn't sign up for. When I called customer service who kept hanging up on me. I also went on their website to cancel the membership I didn't sign up for. It stated the website can't be found. Be aware of this company don't buy items from them. They will get you somehow...

Amerimark redirects your payment without notice

I've had an account with Amerimark for over 10 years and never had a problem until the last couple of months. They decided to drop Dr. Leonards from their group of catalogs without letting anyone know. When I received a statement from them saying I was behind on my payment I called and found out that they had redirected my payments to Dr. Leonards without my consent. This put my Amerimark account into arrears, The only way they would correct it would be to move the payments to Amerimark and then I would be in arrears with Dr. Leonard's. I have always just gone on their site and payed the amount due which covered all their catalogs without a problem until now. I will pay off my Amerimark balance and close the account. Don't get caught up in their scam!!

Didn't get my full refund

I ordered a jumper and a sweatshirt from Essentials, a division of Amerimark. The sweatshirt arrived in a timely fashion but the jumper did not. I thought perhaps my order was shipped in two separate packages or the jumper was backordered but I called customer service automated line to clarify. I was told that my order was complete. How was it complete if I ordered TWO items and only received ONE? I got hold of a live customer service person who told me that the jumper was no longer available IN THE COLOR I HAD ORDERED so they canceled my order! But on the order form (I mailed it in with my check) I very clearly wrote that if the color I chose was not available they could substitute ANY OTHER COLOR. The customer service person said that they don't look at any comments written by the customer. I asked if the company was planning to just keep my check for the two items and not let me know? She said, "I'm sorry." I asked for a refund and she said she would arrange it. But look what happened: I was charged the full shipping for the two items even though they only shipped one and would not refund the extra shipping charge. Also there was some kind of "surcharge" of $1.75 which was not refunded plus they charged me twice this amount. The jumper that I ordered cost $45 and the refund was for only $39! I tried explaining that I should get back at least the $45 for the item that I paid for and never received but she said I was only entitled to the $39. The only good thing I can say is that my refund check came in just a couple of days. I am very disappointed because I have ordered from them in the past with no problems.

RIDICULOUS SHIPPING CHARGES

I received this shipment. On the bill it listed FSC charge. That means fuel service charge. Since when did the Post Office start charging FSC? I worked 44 years jn trucking, never ever did USPS get permission to add fsc charges. Yet his company added it to my bill along with high shipping charges in general. I returned the product via USPS for 4.59. Put it this way I paid 19.99 for a product. It ended up being 32.00 with shipping, replacement chg?, fsc. I got a 21.00 refund after paying for return of shipment. This 19.99 product cost me 36.00 and after returning this company made 16.00. Had I known they had these horrendous reviews I wouldn't have done biz with them.

I want to say thank you to ALL EHO HAVE SHATEED THIET EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY. I've been scammed so much that I review EVETY ONLINE COMPANY B E F O R E I ORDER NOW. I really wanted to purchase a few things but no, I will not after reading your helpful reviews.
WHY IS OUR COUNTRYVALLOWING THESE FRADULANT COMPANIES TO CONTINUE TO TIP OFF AMERICAN CONSUMERS??? DURELY THETE ISCA WAY TP ELEMIMATE THIE SHAM AND FRAUD.

I wish I've seen the reviews before buying from this company. The reviews on here on absolutely correct. Don't buy from this company they give you nothing but a run around. I ordered 3 items and they're trying to charge me separate shipping. Who does that!!! I received 2 items in one box but they want to charge separate shipping. I asked the representative did they pay to send the items out separate even though they were in one box she said yes ... that's a LIE!!! You send one box you pay one s&h. I told her after I pay off my bill they don't have to worry about me. I won't be giving them my card number either. I'll buy a money order but they won't be getting my info. Please if you're going to buy from this company read the reviews first because I wish I had..!!!
