I purchased an AMI wool jumper in 2022 at full price and wore it fewer than ten times. Despite very limited wear and proper care, the fabric developed significant pilling.

I contacted AMI customer service, who confirmed this is considered “normal” for wool and declined any goodwill gesture, citing policy. While I understand policies, this level of wear after such minimal use was disappointing for a brand positioned at this price point.

Sharing this for customers who expect longevity and premium durability from luxury knitwear.

Do not buy from this seller. The product is overpriced and the delivery service is extremely slow. I placed my order on December 17th and paid €30 extra for express delivery. Despite this, the package has not been shipped yet and no tracking information has been provided. This is very disappointing and not acceptable for a so-called express service.

Bought a belt, size quite off. They sent me a return label, sent back the item but once I sent the item back and scan by DHL the code in front of me I didn’t receive any email. I followed up, many times, days to week but no response at all. Sent the item but my money still with them. So wrong that I didn’t check the reviews to this company because no I’m believing it’s a scam.

These are scammers especially Tanaka she made me pay money for a visa and they never deliver or any communication. Since past 3 years no communication or offices listed on their site closed other people even looking for their hard earned money, very disappointed.

The AMI De Coeur backpack looks great, but it’s expensive for what it is. The zipper is poor quality — I already have two holes, and I’m just waiting for the zip to give out completely. Definitely expected better. I’ll be switching to another brand next time.

The app does not update fast enough.

I placed an order multiple twice, but each time I received an email cancelling it with the explanation that the item was out of stock. This is your fault but taking my money for 2 weeks! I emailed a few times you replied the refund has been processed. But it wasn't! Until now I'm still waiting for the refund.

Deplorable customer service and attitude, the epitome of Parisian hospitality.

I spent £100 on a T shirt which was delivered late and to the wrong address. AMI refused to refund the item and keep insisting it was delivered correctly, the epitome of Parisian arrogance.

I should have known better.

I attempted to place an order multiple times, but each time I received an email canceling it with the explanation that the item was out of stock. However, the website consistently displayed the item as available. This discrepancy between the website's stock status and the actual availability is frustrating and misleading.

Shipping took forever, the clothes are package straight out of china with a horrible smell, the product to the photo and description is different and the fabric is very cheap and not silk. Even the belt is not the same in the pic

Do not buy from this retailer - they are in China and not in London like their website states. Very bad product quality and won’t let you return the goods for a refund. They are not legitimate. Customer service is slow and poor.

I think there are different versions of this business which is basically a scam website. I purchased a bomber jacket from AMI-Melbourne. They pretend they are in Melbourne but actually it's in China. Product takes weeks to arrive and is the worst quality. When you ask for a refund they first offer 30 per cent and you can keep the product, or send it all the way to China at your own expense for full refund. If you opt for the full refund they then offer 50 per cent. I bought a bomber jacket for my son's birthday and the quality was so shameful I ended up buying him another one (from a legitimate Australian website). Buyer beware. I 100 per cent do not recommend AMI Melbourne.

Scam scam scam. Before purchasing I asked if the dress was cotton and they said yes. It came 100% polyester. They also sent the wrong size in which their so called “returns policy” states if they make a mistake they will cover shipping costs. They have refused to abide by their own policy and offer me a 40% return for their 2 mistakes. The worst experience I’ve ever had! Makes my blood boil.

Received order, M sized jacket is huge and fur lining is wonky. Jumper is strangely made and looks awful on. Went to return them, to discover returns must be sent by customer to UK!!!

SCAM COMPANY!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Ordered 2 jackets 7 weeks ago and still no delivery. The tracking number given shows no detail other than "in transit". After seven weeks!!! If you order anything from this mob don't expect it to arrive. AMI (whatever it is) is not in Melbourne. It's in China. AMI China. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Firstly this company isn’t from Melbourne or London, it’s Chinese. They deceive you from the onset.
The 2 piece article I received was made from the worst quality fabric. It was a bad cut & a totally different pattern & colour to what they advertised. They take images from a professional site & advertise it as their own. Once they’ve sold it to you they then send a disgraceful homemade garment that bares no resemblance to what you ordered.
