From our arrival in Egypt to the very end, the service from our meet and greet guides, our tour guides and drivers was 5 star. All the staff went above and beyond to make our holiday amazing. The tour was well organised and executed, so that all the trips ran smoothly, be prepared for a couple of early 4am starts. However this was understandable, as we had to cover some distance. It did on the other hand, make our trip more comfortable, as some days the weather became very hot. April was a good time to travel, with some cooler days and less people. We did however miss using the pool on the boat a couple of days due to cooler and windier weather. The Orient Tower Prestige Boat did have a tired sundeck with some broken sunloungers and broken wooden flooring (H&S issue), the floor was also very dirty. The reception staff were not very helpful, engaging or happy. The cabin size was great with full length sliding doors offering fantastic river views, a large bathroom with good water pressure these were a big bonus and certainly made up for the sundeck issues. Overall this was an amazing and magical trip and one we would highly recommend and remember for many years to come. The duration of our trip was 10 days, covering the Pyramids, Cairo and then a Nile Cruise from Luxor to Abu Simbel.
Hotel Baron was used as a base upon arrival to Cairo and on the last day. This was a lovely hotel which started our holiday off with a big tick. Located in new Cairo access to the city is via a subway at the end of the street, this saves you crossing a very busy 4 lane major highway. We found this by chance as the hotel did not have city maps.
Travel tips: Take 20EP for toilets at the Temples and other site visits. Some toilet attendants asked for 1 Euro.
Factor in tipping for: luggage carriers at the boat EP 50 each, Drivers and Tour Guides $5 per person per day. Tipping expectations are a little confusing, so factor in the additional costs as these are not included as part of the overall boat tip. The overall tipping bill for the boat is $5 Per person per day, this is collected at the end of your cruise. Drinks on the boat were in Euros: €45 for a bottle of wine, €5 for beer & €3 for soft drinks.
Enjoy your magical Egyptian holiday it will certainly give you the bug for future tours, this was our 3rd.

Thanks a lot for taking care of the travel to Sharm El Sheik after the cancellation of the flight from Oslo. I did fly from Copenhagen and all went fine and got a nice vacation in Sharm El Sheik. Food at the flight with Sevenair was good and also the service onboard was very good.

Activity for kids is not optima, I think there is missing some water slides, but of cause if it is a decision nor to have it’s okay.
Food was fine, a lot of dishes and vegetables, cake and fruits. Vine was not good, no possible to those another wine, just this big back, this needs to be upgraded - beer was okay, but again no choice just the one..

Amisol stop replying in my review, nothing in your reply was true.
We booked a trip with Amisol, after we have arrived the destination, Amisol’s local guide told us we were downgrade to another hotel because of overbooking. This is the first thing, why waited until we have already arrived after 5 hours flight to tell us? Yes, then we were not able to cancel the trip as there were only flight back after a week since the destination was a small island.
Also during our stay, on all the booking platforms the hotel we booked still showing available rooms all the time. We asked Amisol why, but never received a reply.
Amisol’s local guide told us we could claim the price difference and compensation after the trip. But when we came back, Amisol refused to refund the price difference which was 6000KR and only wanted to give a compensation of 1400KR.
The hotel we are sent to was shabby and bad location that we had to go up and down 100 stairs each time to our room compare to the hotel we booked which was new and located right on the beach.
this is a scam that Amisol keep tricking people to book a nice hotel but send them to a bad one by using an excuse of overbooking and lying about refund the price difference.
Why should we accept a so called compensation of 1400Kr when the price difference is 6000Kr ?? And price difference & compensation are completely different things! If you bought a dress online cost you 1000 but received a complete different one which the price is 200 and the seller is telling you that because the one you bought was sold out so they just sent you this and they will refund you only 100 to close the case, does that make sense to you? Will you agree?
We have submitted all the evidence including emails with the local guide, Amisol is clear about the case but still refuse to refund.
Amisol, if you are willing to do the correct thing, you should contact us, instead of keep lying in the comment.
This is a public platform for everyone to write their true experience.we are not here to seek for justice as we have sent the case further to related authorities, we are here only to share our experience and give a warning to people who might consider to book through Amisol.
To those who are thinking a package trip, if you do not want to experience the same and ruin your holiday, there are many other travel agent to consider, we have used Ving, Apollo, TUI…never had any issue as we had with Amisol!

I booked a trip with Amisol and the payment didn’t go through. Instead of calling me, I got several emails (which saw but I was traveling for work at that time) and then they cancelled my trip without talking to me ! I got a new offer, more expensive than the one I had, and with no visum and the voucher I got didn’t apply , so I ended up paying about 400€ more.
When I got to the hotel, I waited 2 hours to get my room because amisol didn’t make the booking either hotel !
I just want to go to a specific hotel in Egypt and can only book via amisol. That’s why I keep going back to them.
Mistakes do happen. Payments don’t always go through the first time.
Just pick up the phone when you are missing a payment of 3,000€ instead of an email . Especially if the subject of the emails is : thank you for your booking number 0000, and then the message is : we didn’t get the payment.

This is the first time I have used AmiSol but not the last time.
When a company is unknown and you know there are horrible travel agencies among some at the market you never know what to expect.
The day before ordering my vacation one of my friends told me that she was very happy with AmiSol I made my order.
One week in Egypt with All inclusive.
The travel all in all was absolutely perfect. Nice guide when we arrived, nice plane (AirSeven), cheap price. Nothing to complain about.

TRIP TO CAIRO/ GIZA PYRAMIDS FROM SHARMEL SHEIK:
Everything worked great the flight back and forth and we got to see a lot for a day trip. We had the best Egyptologist guide (Reem) who had an amazing knowledge about it all, was so kind and an excellent English. I would definitely request a trip to see the pyramids with her!

Mr Taha in Sharm el sheikh was very helpful. Also the hotel Marriott and the dive center Dive In had excellent service.
Sharm El sheikh is absolute worth a visit.

Hello! I was bought a ticket till Sharm from Amisol. But they cancelled flight! Ok, I asked about turn back money on my card - but there are no nothing for a month already. I asked them every day, where is my money?- Amisol said that they were turn back it!!! But it is not true 😭 They are scammers, will go to a police in a nearest time

We visited Sharm reef in week 18.
It’s a nice small hotel, nice atmosphere, great animation team, nice food, the same as usual, but good taste and good bar
Medo is a nice and very friendly person and makes a great atmosphere.
The cleaning man Tark is very good guy.

The animation team has contributed with an amazing atmosphere at the hotel - always with a big smile and a great sense of humor! We had an amazing time at the Taj Mahal with them aswell - they made us feel absolutely safe to explore Sharm El Sheikh by night❤️

Very good hotel (SHARM REEF HOTEL)was very clean and the staff was really nice , food was varied and delicious there was different food everyday. Pool was lovely the whole hotel was really clean. Many places to visit near by and good location. They have a lot of activities. The best is the DJ in hotel near by the pool which makes it more fun to be there.

Every staff at the Hotel had a very positive vibe, we felt at home right away. The food was very good and different everyday, and specially at the last day we had an amazing dinner at the pool with fireworkshow and great energy from the animation team!
From room 335:
the hotel was 8/10, a few changes could be made, the water in the shower ran up and down a lot and did not always want to be in the shower head and the toilet could not always roll out..
the food was quite unremarkable. fantastic service from all staff.
we loved Mido and his team they were so much fun. such fantastic people who got a party up and running all the time and it was important for Mido to say goodbye to the whole family and I think that was really fantastic.
the fire show that was as entertainment one night was fascinating. cool people.
the area outside the hotel could really use some cleaning.
On the Way home our flight was delayed by half an hour kinda annoying cause we were tired but that’s what can happen. My little brother that is 8 was placed without mom and dad on the way so we had to switch seats with some people cause an 8 year old obviously can’t sit alone.
