After reading these reviews of items …

After reading these reviews of items not being available, I thought I'd give them a chance and the benefit of the doubt, but the reviews are right, they emailed to say that the item I had ordered online which was shown as available, was not available and they are unable to get hold of the item anymore. I replied to say that this should reflect on the website and they replied to say they are working on this. Well after reading these reviews it seems they have been working on this since 2014 and haven't really gotten around to updating the problem! They did however offer an alternative option but offered a completely different bra size to what was originally ordered and I asked if it is delivered can they guarantee me a full refund including the delivery if the product doesnt fit and they responded by saying they cannot guarantee the size will fit and offered another alternative which I can only imagine was most likely not the same price so I declined and they completely ignored my original question. This is all via email. I asked for a full refund and they have said that they have not yet taken any money so I will wait and see my bank statement to confirm this. Personally I would avoid this company in future as I feel that if you are unable to update your website of available products, then you are not running a brilliant business and wasting people's time with online shopping!!!

We are very sorry that the item you ordered was not available. We have had a look at your order and the item you ordered had just been sold and was a sale item where we unfortunately only had one item left and it was an item that is no longer available from the supplier. We are working on getting stock quantities available on our website and because we are only a small family run business this is taking time to achieve. We do try to show products that we have available for immediate dispatch, as we have this displayed on product pages were the items are in our stockroom and we are working on showing actual stock quantities and if quantities are low. Let down only by poor delivery

My initial online 'chat' with Ample Bosom was really helpful and following that I ordered 3 items in two different sizes just as they had suggested. The first two items arrived the next day and I emailed to say how pleased I was with such prompt service. Those items were OK but on receipt of the third item, about a week later, I decided the first two items were not as good a fit as the third so returned these. I then received the fourth item about another week later. I ordered the items on 14 June and as at today's date, 6 July, the final two items are still outstanding. I have therefore e-mailed them today to ask if these could be cancelled and refunded as I needed the underwear for a dress fitting last weekend. The quality of the products was excellent and I probably would order from the site again. However, in an age when we're used to 'next day' or 'same day' delivery, I think they need to up their game in that respect. I may well have been quicker ordering direct from the manufacturer and may consider that next time.

We are very sorry that some of the items you ordered didn't arrive on time for your dress fitting. We need to re look at our communication system for letting customers know if stock is not available straight away and making sure we keep customers informed if an order is looking like it may take a few weeks to come, which can sometimes be the case with some of the brands.
We are currently working on getting live stock levels on the website so that customers can see easily which items are in stock or which sizes have to be ordered in. If we have stock in at the moment the product page will say "has sizes available for immediate dispatch" but not all our products are currently in stock. Our web developers are working on making stock levels clear for customers to see. If you do wish to place an order with us in the future, if you phone up then our staff will be able to give you a clearer idea of how long an item will take. We appreciate your comments and custom and hope that you will come back to our website again. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if we can help with any future queries or orders you may have. No problems at all!

After placing an order on Saturday I phoned outside of opening hours later in the week and left a message asking them to give me an update on my order. Sarah phoned me back first thing the following day to say my order had already been despatched and all was good. I think my order had been progress efficiently and I think their service is absolutely perfect.
I think where these poorer reviews are coming from are based on slightly high expectations based upon huge e-commerce companies like Amazon and Next that offer exceptional service far beyond the smaller companies found on the internet.
If you appreciate who Ample Bosom are with the wide range of products they offer then the service level they provide is exceptional.

Brilliant service

I have been using this company for several years and have always had excellent service.

They will tell you if they have an item in stock and if not they will order it for you otherwise items arrive really quickly much quicker than all the other mail order companies I order from.

Cannot understand the poor reviews staff have always been helpful

Dreadful Customer Service

I ordered a bra, three weeks ago, if I hadn't have rung them I wouldn't have known that they didn't have it stock, e mails are not answered. I was assured that it was on order from America and would arrive the following week, delivery to me the following week, It would take a week to send?......I waited ......I rang again and was again fobbed off, but assured delivery to me would take another two weeks, needless to say this is poor customer service.I cancelled I shall not use them again.

Poor service and stock problems

Despite what has been said in response to other reviews this company do not tell you if something is out of stock or delayed. I have waited four weeks and heard nothing from them. I then emailed and got no response. I emailed to cancel the order and got a flippant response saying we have cancelled your order, sorry. No explanation and no indication of the responders position or job. I have shopped with Amplebosom before but they have gone way down hill especially as the items are available from stock elsewhere. I will not shop with them again.

Very poor service

Staff are abrupt and in a hurry to get you off the 'phone. Have been waiting 8 weeks for an order to be told today that it it still wasn't in. The site shows stock availability, not items in stock, basically the items are ordered in from USA when an order is placed. On my previous 'phone call to them, the girl hung up before I had finished speaking. I will not use this company again as I resent spending hard earned money for such amateurish service. As the previous reviewer said, there are much better companies out there!

I am sorry to hear you have had a bad experience ordering from AmpleBosom.com i can assure you this will be looked in to.
We understand it is frustrating to not have live stock levels on the website, this is a feature we are working on and will have in action shortly. We do email our customers to inform you of any delays as soon as we receive your order.
Glamorise is an exception, this supplier can take up to 6 weeks to deliver to us, goods are held in America and this is where the delay lies. Unfortunately we can only pass on the information we are given personally from Glamorise. I can see one of the bras you ordered was dispatched within the week, the second had a lengthy delay which i can only apologize for. We are a service and offer difficult to find sizes in as much choice as we can- sometimes this does unfortunately have a delay.

Unreliable and ungracious

Website looks great, with choice of bra's best around - but it's misleading, the website doesn't show stock levels. I placed a three hundred pound order for four bras, and was told after placing the order that just one was in stock. When I responded to their email telling me the items I'd ordered weren't available, I asked them to cancel my order and refund all monies paid - including the very expensive next day P&P, the reply from Amplebosom was less than gracious. There are better and more reliable companies out there - such as Rigby & Peller and David Nieper. Avoid Amplebosom.

I have looked into your review and can see i did email you as soon as your order was received to advise of the three items out of stock, I personally spent time to find you alternative colours/styles that we had in stock available for immediate dispatch to fulfill your next day delivery.
As your email to cancel your order was received after out post had been collected one of the items you ordered had been dispatched, the remaining three were cancelled with no issue as we only take payment on dispatch. Had the bra we dispatched been returned to us we would have been happy to refund you in full, as this item was kept the £6.50 next day postage charge was not refunded.
We are working on live stock levels for our website as we understand this is very frustrating for customers ordering. Please accept our apologies.

Excellent all-round service

I have shopped at Amplebosom.com for many years and am continually impressed by the range of products and sizes - the site is a godsend for us bigger ladies who find it difficult to get the size and choice we require in high street shops. There is a fantastic range of lingerie from all over the world to fit all shapes and sizes!

The level of service is excellent - goods are delivered speedily (by first class post) and returning unsuitable goods is very easy, and any delays are notified by a personal email. The website has recently undergone improvements and is very easy to use.

I no longer even consider shopping for bras on the high street, and I would strongly recommend Amplebosom to anyone.

Great customer service

Easy to use website, quick delivery and great returns service.

I'm a regular Ample Bosom customer, and on the rare occasion that I order the wrong item, they have a brilliant returns service.

The staff are very helpful and I always get a quick email response whenever I contact them.

Overall, a highly recommended lingerie site.
