Awful company with practises that border Fraud.

This company wasted a huge amount of my time, refusing to honor their bogus refund policy, which is clearly designed to trap customers. Despite me following every step of their so-called “refund policy” to the letter, they did everything they could to avoid paying back the money they owed me.

I had to initiate a chargeback with my bank because they outright refused to refund me. During this process, they didn’t just provide misleading information; they submitted fully doctored screenshots to my bank, trying to deceive them. I was savvy enough to catch this and provide overwhelming proof to the bank, which quickly ruled in my favour and refunded me in full. What they did was fraudulent, and it’s shocking that a company like this is allowed to operate in this manner.

If you’re a small business looking for investment, stay far away from these people. Their behavior is disgraceful, and I strongly suggest pursuing a chargeback through your bank if you’ve paid them by card. Enough people doing this will hopefully lead to them losing their payment facilities.

On top of everything, Angel Investment Network tried to have this review removed, but Trustpilot has kept it up after I made the necessary edits, proving the truth behind my claims.

Also, a quick search for “Angel Investment Network” on Trustpilot reveals that they have multiple websites across different countries, all tied to the same Twickenham address, with an overwhelming number of 1-star reviews. Hopefully, Trustpilot investigates this pattern further.

Avoid this company at all costs—they’re a danger to small businesses.

Managed to get an investor from Switzerland that I wouldn't have had a chance to find otherwise

I listed my pitch and have had promising conversations with some impressive investors. I’m hoping to get a deal over the line soon.

This is a pure scam we never received any contact form any investors asked for a refund they refused.

Don't touch them with a barge pole!

Really easy process to submit your brand, but make sure you do the ground work first and have everything you need to complete.

I’d recommend using the function that means only subscribing payers can see your pitch, as I got so many fake enquiries that burnt my time.

I’ve used AIN for several raises. Received a good number of contacts each time - around half of these ended up with phone calls or further discussion. Often investors were prepared to invest without meeting face to face and we’ve ended up with investors from all over the world, India, Scotland, Mexico, Australia to name a few. Very global network. Platform does work, nudge feature is helpful for getting internet and we got good results from using that. Appreciate that it won’t work for everyone, but can confirm some really good investors on there. Our smallest investor from the network put in £25k and our largest 1.25M , all different levels.

The platform hosts serious and professional investors who can create an effective dialogue with startups.

The platform gave our investor a chance to find us, communicate with us, and finally conclude a successful investment agreement as part of the seed round.

Very easy sign-up process, good UX and great customer service.

Stamp Free have used AIN for two investment rounds and raised of over £500k via them. We shall use them again.

Absolutely horrible experience. This is a business run as a scam where they make money by offering you a refund policy that they contradict later in the process. They intentionally make it very difficult to receive a refund. Don’t expect to get your money back or any investors from using this network.

I spoke to the founder over email and he was extremely unhelpful and unapologetic about the fact that they were not able to connect me with any investors. Instead of offering me any refund (like it says in their policy) he went forward to tell me that I didn’t communicate with the correctly and therefore I will not get a refund. Their service took me 4 hours to set up and provided me with NO value. I would thing any properly run business would offer their customers a partial refund for that…

Deceptive pay-to-pitch platform.

They are not upfront or honest that this is paid brokerage. They pose as a genuine investment group, of which there are many, but they are not.

Their website holds no clue of the "service" provided or the amount they charge for it.

Scam.... it funny how you magically gets messages of people pretending they are interested to invest just before your subscription runs out. They keep deleteing my reviews. Stay well clear! You have been warned. Should be shut down and charged!

All we got were scammers and people looking for jobs. Weird refund rules (you have to contact them in advance) designed to help you lose your money.

AIN is a great service. We have raised a lot through their platform and found some amazing angels getting a huge ROI from the cost. The team is super helpful if you need bespoke support. I highly recommend.

70% scammers on this site. Other platforms have strict verification process. This site has none. Be very careful.

Purchased their product with a promise of a refund if we had no interest within a month.

After one month and receiving one message from [redacted], to which I responded and heard nothing back, I requested a refund. The response was I should cancel my subscription, and they would rewrite my pitch for me (which I have little idea if they actually did) and provide me a free month, after which I could be refunded.

I did so, had one other message from potentially another 'fake' investor (as I replied and got nothing back) and forgot about the service because I had no notifications come through. Once I recalled the £150 I had spent and received nothing for, I contacted the company to request my refund but was told that i was too late as I had to contact them "5 days prior to the expiry".

All in all, nothing productive came from using their service at all. I would highly recommend others to avoid it at all costs.

We got a fake investor from here - a man from Zimbabwe currently residing in Brazil . Avoid him. He signed everything including the shareholders agreement but never transferred money, excuse after excuse. wasted 7 months on us.

We signed up and renewed our subscription a few times believing as per their marketing, if we didn’t get any investor interest we can get a refund.

We can tell you now this is a lie. After 3 months and then a further 90 following a rewrite, we were advised that we don’t qualify for a refund despite no interest in our pitch.

So if you are nervous about using this Company in case you get no interest and waste your money, then I will confirm now, that’s exactly what will happen.

I honestly thought the marketing was too good to be true and now I find out it really is.
