i would provide 0 stars if i could. i am not happy with the styling, or the size of the small bag (i ordered one of each), nor the weight of the large bag. it is bulky and the straps are cumbersome to use. there is no return policy. i will never back another kickstarter project again. something makes me think kickstarter got abused in this transaction--this bag looks mass-produced in a third-world country. stay away from this company!

They provide me twice with fake tracking number.
At March 28th they provide me with first fake tracking number.
At April 3 they provide me with new tracking number.
They said to me "your package was shipped out on April 1st" but today (April 8st) I spoke to courier and the second tracking info is also totally fake.
They already have an online store, with enough stock to run without fill the backers orders first.

Horrible F*ing Customer Service
Their tagline should be Horrible F*ing Customer Service. I have still not received my bags after a year and they are trying to charge me additional shipping fees because supposedly I did not accept the shipment. I stopped receiving email updates in September and they reached out to me in February saying that my bags were returned to them and that I would have to pay to reship them. I have been living in my address for three years and never missed a single shipment, and their own statements point to a sloppy communications and logistics processes.
- They stated that they emailed me about my shipment, but I have no records;
- They stated that the shipment tracker is in the backer kit, but how are customers supposed to know that they should be logging in to their online account to check the status - I've been waiting close to a year, and have other things to do with my life than log in to a system every couple of days for months on end;
- They told me it was shipped via USPS, then sent me a link from FedEx;
-They mentioned it was sent in December, then the FedEx link showed October, but they only reached out to me in February to try to charge me more;
-They sent me a Paypal invoice for the shipping despite me telling them that I do not agree to pay more for their mistake;
-They told me that they do not provide reimbursements, but are not providing any alternatives.
This has been one of the poorest customer service experiences I have had, and you can tell that their managers (the one I worked with is named Frank) are total jerks who have no concern for the satisfaction of their customers. With service like this, Anvanda is destined to failure.
A horrible experience
The bag took forever to arrive, it looked NOTHING like what was advertised.
It is s***ty, cheap, and low quality.
Thanks to this horrible experience I'll never back a similar product on kickstarter again.
Also: the extras (e.g. The wallet and the camera bag) are even worse

I Kickstarted this bag, and it has been the worst Kickstarter experience of my life. Because of Anvanda, I will NEVER order anything like this from Kickstarter again.
They took an unreasonble amount of time to fulfill their pledges (some STILL haven't been fulfilled), which wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't constant lies from their customer service - JUST TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY. After ~3 weeks of using the bag, I knew in my heart that it was a heavily misrepresented product, and was simply bad. I never once used the wallet as it was THAT BAD. The company flat out refused to even entertain even a partial refund, which I would understand if they had an affordable product... which this is not.
If I could give Anvanda 0 stars, I would.

I bought the bag on February 2018, I was expecting it to arrive by june or july 2018 since i already had a trip planned and would be a great idea to take it with me.
Well, the time for my trip came, and the bag was nowhere to be found. It just happened to arrive to my doorstep when i was abroad, and ofcourse, since there was noone to claim it, it was returned to sender.
I asked them politely for months to give me my money back, since i was not willing to wait another 3-6 months for a freaking bag, and they said they would not refund me because the incurred in a lot of production expenses. They offered to send it back, but that i had to pay twice as much as i paid initially for S&H.
Unnaceptable.
now they are opening an online store, with enough stock to run the business a year or two, and yet they wont refund me, even tho i still dont have the product, and i have asked them again and again for it.
If you see them, run the other way. They will keep your money and in the best case scenario, will give you an average product. Worst case scenario, they will steal your money.

Sure it came late
Sure it came late. It was crowdfunded and massively popular, it wasn't going to come out when they said. Nothing I've ever crowdfunded has. Now that I have it, I LOVE it. It's soft, comfortable, and well-made. I love the two way opening, the changeable straps, the location and number of pockets. I get compliments constantly and have given recommendations to my friends when they go bag shopping. 10/10 would crowdfund again. If you're on a time crunch and reading the late or never arrived reviews, remember that those individuals knew what they were getting into.

I backed this campaign last year and they had trouble filling all of the orders because lets face it, its a great freakin bag.
Everytime I go to work or take a trip I get compliments. I can't tell you how many times I've been stopped and asked "where did you get THAT bag?"
The design is very cool and different. Hidden pockets are awesome. Kickstarter orders take time, it should be expected.
Update: I ordered another bag for my girlfriend and a wallet on the anvanda.com website free shipping (im not paying extra$$ for express) took 4 days.

Glue came out in the very first use!
I initially loved the bag. It is very well designed or so I thought. The zip material is pasted on to the canvas base and the glue is extremely weak!! It came out during my very first use. It was an embarrassing business trip carrying a torn bag.
The warranty is valid only for US, which doesn't make any sense to me.
I am not sure if I did the right thing backing this product. I am extremely disappointed with the durability.
Great campaign. Big claims. Not so good at following through.
Crap company
Never received my bag since card was charged last year. Many emails sent and none answered. Crap company, crap customer service. Don’t know if I will ever receive the product. Company lies, will take your money and you will get NOTHING.
Don't fall for the hype!
I was so excited about this bag when I first saw it in January. I had never backed a Kickstarter program before and was eager to try. 11 months later with almost no communication from the company other than misleading updates and snarky remarks to backers I received my bag. I was one of the lucky ones who came in the right color in the right size and all the straps came with it. But everything about the bag was downgraded. There are 27 logos on this bag when they specifically said that wasn't something they were going to do. The zippers are of lesser quality and are very tiny and hard to open. The handle on the front of the bag isn't usable and now conceals a pocket which isn't very stable. Canvas is not waterproof, had to do that myself. Unlike most of my fellow backers I only have a few gripes with the exception of the communication. Every person who answered questions in the backer chat lied, every email contain more lies, the updates were straight up stolen off of other campaigns pages, it's like they didn't know what to tell us so they just made it up as they went along. They ran another campaign through indigo months after our campaign ended and those folks got their bags before we did. I'll never buy anything else from this company again and everybody I told about this great effing bag I'm making sure they know it's garbage.
Awful customer service, and bag just never arrived (and no more than canned responses after 4 weeks)
One of the most disappointing companies out there - both on a Customer Service level, a communication level, and beyond.
I backed this company in Feb 2018, Jan 2019 still no delivery of product.
From incredibly delayed shipments, to using logistics partners who "go on holiday" for weeks and communicate through an @gmail email address, to bizarre responses from customer service, to just outright ignoring questions - an outright disappointment.
Emailed on 10th December to find out why the delivery of the product appeared to be reversed after weeks in limbo-land (on the world's least informative "tracking" website), and got a response relatively quickly connecting me to the "logistics partner" for Europe (to an @gmail account) - who replied with incorrect information and then just never replied again. Weeks later I'm still chasing Anvanda CS to get any information.
CS seems to be completely unresponsive unless you're helping some of their hundreds of other customers who failed to get their products - then they reply with irrelevant answers and less clarity.
Over-achingly a massive disappointment.
Garbage Company
The product may or may not be great. It's likely I'll never know as I STILL haven't received my bag. I'm an experienced Kickstarter backer and realize what types of delays happen and what sort of roadblocks people/companies run into that they didn't expect. I don't judge ANYTHING by those roadblocks, but rather by how they are handled via communication and options presented to the customers. This company has outright LIED about many aspects of the roadblocks they encountered. Many different dates were promised and missed with no explanations. What there was were plenty of 3rd parties that were blamed for Anvanda's failure to plan and act like an actual business.
Keep in mind that some people who backed the product on Indie Go Go MONTHS after kickstarter allowed the product to launch received their product while those of us that launched the product received nothing but lies, dodges, and the blaming of other companies/shippers. Not once has Anvanda accepted any real level of responsibility.
Even with all of this in consideration it would still be tolerable if the final product we might eventually receive was ANYTHING close to what we actually backed. Smaller form factor, inferior leather (top grain over full grain), a handle that was intended for use that is no longer usable (by their own admission) due to construction issues/design changes, YKK zippers are not present, the item is covered in logos of the company (even on the zippers!)....etc.
This company even went as far as to publicly disclose the private information of a backer on their kickstarter forums.
I have no opinion of the final product (outside of the poor changes) but the company is absolute garbage and I can't recommend them on any level.
Do NOT buy
I backed Anvanda on Kickstarter Feb 2018. Delays are normal with crowdfunding so I wasn't expecting the 4 bags I backed them for to arrive in June 2018 as promised. Now I am sitting here in Jan 2019 and still have not received the bags. Instead I have had to deal with the worst Customer Support I have ever endured. The Anvanda team seems to enjoy to make fun of the ppl that made it possible for them to be in business. When asked in December when I could expect the bags that I had tracking for since end November I was told I should be happy that I had tracking now as the employees and their family members had not received their own bags yet ?!? Really?
Also they made significant changes to the bags that are not listed on their website.

While I am still waiting on the bags as the company refuses to do refunds - period - no matter why a refund is requested.
My advise is do not do business with this company, their marketing campaign is amazing but they are a pyramid scheme that cannot deliver the product you are purchasing and need your money to actually deliver the products their early backers on Kickstarter made by backing them.
Well, that's not what I ordered
Poor quality construction with visible loose threads. And the color, oh god, the color. A combination of a red so bright it sears my eyes and a brown that reminds me of the dog poop I cleaned up this morning. The leather is the only part that matches the color I ordered - a dark red. Unfortunately, it just adds to the horrible color combo that is this bag. The zippers feel poor and the wallet is useless. Can't say anything about how it feels to carry it. I don't want to be seen with it, so I won't leave the house with it.
