Not so happy tales!

An absolute waste of time dealing with this company. I applied for 2 policies for back in August both my dogs and even though they have taken over $1,600, I am still waiting on a receipt or any sort of documentation to say that my dogs are covered. It’s now October and so I’ve decided to cancel the policies as I dread to think what would happen in the event of a claim. Shocking!

They will not honour your claim

When my 2 year old dog was not eating and was losing weight, the local veterinary clinic undertook a number of tests ( physical, blood, urine). When I tried to submit a claim, I had to print the receipts, get a form completed from the Vet (to explain the procedure) and then scan it all back to be submitted online (no online forms!!!). Then radio silence until I chase them for news only to find out that the claim would not be considered unless I submitted a medical report from a vet undertaken before the policy came into force. At no time was I made aware that this report was necessary at the time of purchase. Thankfully I did have a report at hand because we wanted to make sure our puppy was healthy. So I submitted all the information needed to find out my claim was turned down on the grounds that my dog did not have surgery and that diagnostics were not covered (SGD 600). Based on my experience, I strongly recommend that people do not insure their pets with Income's Happy Tails, they will not honour your claim.

Dont even bother

Lack of service with no one attending to your policy and does not keep true to what they wrote in their website stating premiums do not increase with age. Apparently premium increases yearly even with the No Claim Discount (NCD) with no information given on why, making it look like oh you got a discount until you checked with what you've paid the previous year. I mean if policies can change without you knowing how can I trust that my dog will be able to claim her medical bills when the time comes. And to think it is underwritten by MSIG.
