Repeat Penalty Notices When Parking Has Been Paid Forv
This is the third time I have received a APCOA penalty fine when I have paid for parking. The paid for sessions are clearly visible on the app! Yet again I have fines to appeal - from two different locations. This shows it is systemic issue - nationwide.
Not only that, the APCOA terminals are glitchy, keep rejecting payment and delete my account so I need to start again. They also use location numbers that can’t be tracked on their own search tool in the app!
Apcoa don’t even have consistency with their penalty letters. They look completely different - that shouts scam.
APCOA needs to upgrade to a system that is fit for purpose. In fact, they should be fined - pay the motorist - when they issue incorrect penalty notices!
Car Park providers such as St Albans Station and Warwick University have a duty to check the quality of their service providers. Your customers deserve better!

App not Working
Parking at Hull Royal Infirmary with the Apcoa app is a joke - on 25th September the app wasn't even working, tried every day to pay since on the app but still not working. Try to contact them - never answer the phone or respond to emails.
Of all the rubbish parking apps I have…
Of all the rubbish parking apps I have had to negotiate this is by far the worst. Set up to make you fail I have registered x3 times always difficult never allows me back in without a reset. This date is just the last of many, not got a fine, just frustration with a rubbish setup that is trying to get you to fail.

App never works!
Poor app which never works! Even with 5G. Only time I’ve succeeded is using home WiFi which of course doesn’t apply when parking!
It’s an awful looking app anyway which looks to have been it together by a 10 year old as part of a school project.
Phone does work but slow process.
I started to use QR code instead but even that now lands with a web page that doesn’t work.
This is inconsistently awful it feels deliberate. Sort this out APCOA - it’s not good business as I, and probably many others, try to avoid your car parks.
Do not use
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your appeal, you are unable to appeal again. This just about says it all.
Scammers I suspect they are criminals
Scammers they have set up parking at Manchester airport that lures people into getting a £100 fine for 4 minutes on site. They have a barrier at the entrance that opens but which doesn’t give you a payment ticket on the way out the barrier just opens without asking for a payment. My wife mentioned that she saw a free parking sign at the pick up point but I cannot verify this. The pick up point is rushed so you would not have time to go to a payment machine they want you out of that area asap. The whole thing is a scam and if you appeal they are always going to fine you anyway.
The care just about the money
The care just about the money, no reason, no understanding, that doesn't bring them money. They charge you 10 times folded, 20 times folded for a honest mistake. May God do the same to this company and all their employees.
I needed to extend my parking
I needed to extend my parking, but due to being busy at work, I had a few issues. However, contact with Josh Waite made everything less stressful. Excellent customer service. Josh in my opinion is a level above most of his peers. Thank you Josh.
Renewing a Blue Badge Permit
Trying to renew my permit and a very angry young man answered the phone and told me in no uncertain terms that he didn't care who I was or what disability I had HE made the rules and if I wasn't prepared to jump through several hoops he would not renew the permit and would take great delight in issuing me parking fines at every opportunity he got. Told him, of very little manners, to take a chill pill and said goodbye.
3 minutes at Manchester Airport…
3 minutes at Manchester Airport dropping off. Saw sign at Airport but with life going on I forgot to pay which is what these thieving bas###ds want.
Remembered a couple of days later. Went to pay, entered my details happily charged me £5. 2weeks later £100 fine for 3 minutes ! Robbing scum bags
How is this legal
How is this legal. £60 charge for drop off at Manchester airport as a faired to see a sign while driving! Am I supposed to stop and read signs. Disputed the charge and their complaints and chat bot just don’t work saying page not found. Shame on you Manchester airport for using this service
Absolute thieves
Absolute thieves. Advised by them to appeal and in doing so fine went from £60 to £100. Literally stealing money
What a load of utter scammers
What a load of utter scammers! Errrrr no payment machines in sight on exit at Manchester airport! Maybe upgrading I thought. No signs regarding payment details. Following traffic and you out of the airport and on your way! I wish I’d stopped the traffic and found out. Just another scam with a £60 fine! Like a fool, I paid!!!! More annoyed at myself. I should have appealed

The first thing is they are the expensive One like you are parking mars…the other thing is they have bad ticket format, means they will send you ticket your payment didt received with the same format as you paid. The next day you will recive huge penalty fee. They just lisenced scammers
Greedy company that misleads intentionally
I have had many terrible experiences with this company but I have been pushed over the edge with my most recent experience.
I pay for a parking subscription in my apartment building. This alone was very upsetting for me, but it not the reason I'm writing.
I am moving and must cancel my subscription. According to the app, I must cancel 30 days before I want to stop. According to the terms no money is refunded for "lost time".
As I need to park in my spot until August 15th, I understood I am forced to pay until August 30th. While this alone is upsetting, fine. Those are the terms I agreed to.
I canceled my subscription August 1st, and suddenly my "subscription" went from being valid to the end of August to the 2nd of August. I am now in a position where I will be forced to pay for a spot I have already paid for until the end of August, but now at a vastly increased daily rate until I move. If I had waited until the 15th of August, undoubtedly I would be in trouble for not cancelling 30 days in advance, and charged for a new billing cycle.
I did all I could to ensure I was correct, including a chat with the chat bot. But I still lost to this awful company.
