Second time it's happened, bad petrol

Second time it's happened, I thought the first time was just coincidence, I bought petrol and my car started having issues, sluggish movement, had to dilute it with good fuel elsewhere, it's terrible, I just wanted to buy fuel now I have to spend more money to fix my car. It's not fair.

Very disappointing experience at this…

Very disappointing experience at this petrol station (Applegreen Lower Earley) parcel collection point today. I arrived around 4:55pm, before the 5:00pm parcel collection cut-off time, but the till staff namw (starting with Gxxxxxxx) attempted to refuse my parcel collection. I was repeatedly asked for ID, yet still given different and inconsistent reasons for not releasing the parcel.

Customers were not served on a first-come, first-served basis, which felt unfair while I was waiting to resolve the issue. Instead of properly checking the system or assisting, I was told to contact the courier and report the parcel as missing.

The staff attitude was rude and unprofessional, making the situation unnecessarily stressful. Definitely not the level of service customers should expect.

ATM refund.

On December 04th I requested 200 Euro from ATM number 030 in the Applegreen shop in Celbridge. The notes came out, I dropped my debit card on the floor and by the time I picked it up the message on screen told me that my notes had been withdrawn and I was to contact my bank (AIB). When I contacted my bank I was told that because it was not an AIB machine they couldn't do anything about it but that it should have been refunded into my account immediately. Ten days later it has not been refunded.

Please advise.
Mattie Lennon.

Disappointed

Decent food, but high prices, compounded by simplistic music. I’m not surprised that they’re not reading , replying too or doing anything about the poor reviews, when their location guarantees a steady flow of business. A prime example of the negative aspects of capitalism.

If I could put no stars I would.

If I could put no stars I would.

Pulled in to put diesel in my car. The man behind me couldn’t get through so I pulled in and more forward. I was too far for the normal diesel so I used the premium. Nothing came out. No sound no vibrations. The dial stayed on zero. I waved over at the window to ask them to put it on. One of the staff passed me and I said “sorry I wasn’t waving at you so trying to get them to switch it on”. Then I moved forward and used the normal pump and put €30 in. I went into the shop and she said “did you put in €5 before that (exactly €5 weird). I said ok whatever and then I said “no hang on it didn’t work nothing came out, no sound or vibrations and it said 0”. She was like “well I have the receipt” and argued back and forth in front of everyone. When I got back into my car it had exactly 380km which is what I get from €30. So I was really annoyed she had made a show of me in front of everyone and I went back in to say it to her. She disputed and I walked off and she roared across the shop that she had it on camera. So I said “what that it stayed on zero and the pump didn’t work”

Seriously €5 making a show of a customer and not even checking if it was an error or not. For all I know there was someone else before me that put that in.

Filled diesel (on 25/07/25) from Applegreen Nenagh and car broke down after bit of driving as fuel system failured. Later investigation revealed contamination. Fuel system replacement cost 2500 euros.
Better stay away from Applegreen fuel.
