Easy purchase. Quick Delivery. Careful installation.

Ordered a fancy new fridge from Appliance City. The order arrived within a couple of days and the chaps who delivered and installed it were superb. They carefully removed my old appliance, took care to read instructions for the fitting of the door handles on the new fridge and made sure everything was working and I was happy before they left. I would definitely recommend this firm and will be looking to them in the future. So refreshing to see good customer service by the delivery team. 1

I don’t usually leave reviews but my experience with Appliance City has been farcical and this might be the only way they take notice.

I made an order through their website and delivery was scheduled for 10/07 but it never came.
13/07: I called their delivery team and somebody said they’d take a look and get back to me
14/07: no reply so rang again and got the same response
15/07: as above
16/07: somebody finally managed to sort it and arranged for next day delivery
17/07: product arrives damaged. I called the team and they tell me to send an email
20/07: as of midday on Monday, no one has bothered to reply to my email or call me

The lack of customer service has been the worst I’ve experienced from an online retailer and, 10 days after promised delivery date, I’m still without what I ordered. I’m hoping this will at least warrant a response

I am satisfied with this purchase. It is a good value for money. I encountered some issues, but they were resolved appropriately in the end! The delivery was not quite what I had hoped for; hence I gave it four stars!

Stay away from these guys - I ordered a washing machine which wasn't delivered, now fighting them and their unhelpful service desk to get my money back!
Everything about this company is wrong - from the fact that Google Pay doesn't work on their website to difficulties getting hold of their support.

22/07 - i see you have sent it to Snr Management - please can you ask them to refund me. That is all want! Appliance City did not deliver my washing machine - therefore you should refund me.
31/07 - still no refund and no email response to my requests for a refund. Next going to lodge a complaint with Citizen's Advice. Seems impossible to get my money back fro Appliance City.
08/08 - I finally got repaid for Order #107352

Fridge-freezer delivered on time and moved into position without drama. The delivery team were polite and friendly.

The sales process was smooth, but the aftercare was very poor. The delivery team did not install the fridge door handles, and no instructions were included — this led to wasted time searching online and calling the manufacturer for help. It was a fiddly job, but we eventually managed to fit them ourselves.

Installation should have been included as part of the delivery, but Appliance City did not support us with this — even after the manufacturer confirmed that installation should have been included as part of the delivery. This is the reason for the poor score.

Ordered a washing machine from them over a week ago, waiting in all day for delivery, NONE, I phone them, they have had issues transferring computer systems and not managed to send out any products, they were going to conctact me later!!!! another week before im likely to get it now, shambles of a company.

The appliance has not been used yet so can’t comment on it yet. The ordering process was easy and communication was good up until delivery. Unfortunately the appliance arrived with very damaged packaging so I refused it and the delivery people took it back. After that, re-arranging delivery was not a smooth process because of a lack of communication from both Appliance City and the delivery company they used (BJS). I had to ring a few times to get an update. Eventually the second delivery took place and the unpacked appliance has a dent on the side so we’ll have to see if that impacts the dishwasher at all. Overall, I am disappointed and will not use Appliance City in future.

Ordering was easy and prices competitive. Delivery and customer care to rectify the issue was severely lacking. Ordered a hoover and picked a delivery day, item was eventually delivered over a week later than expected. The issue was with Parcel Force but Appliance City choose their couriers and when you speak to customer service there was no empathy or urgency to resolve the issue.

absolutely top marks for communication and customer service I purchased this appliance 8 weeks before I wanted delivery as refurbishing my kitchen absolutely no problem was delivered on the specified date wit emails 2 days before and 1 day before to confirm delivery and on day of delivery as well with a time slot

Great price on Samsung appliances. Delivered on time and lots of comms to keep me updated. Recommend.

The price of the washing machine was very competitive. The ordering system was clear and delivery, to a rural part of Wales, was efficient (with the delivery team contacting us to apologise for a traffic related delay).

Having never used an online electrical retailer before I was a little apprehensive but Appliance City were excellent. The Range master cooker I wanted was a good price and Mike who I dealt with on the phone was most helpful in answering all my questions. I was given a delivery date and was kept up to date by text on the delivery schedule and Carl and Dave of the delivery team arrived within 2 minutes of the delivery time. I will certainly use this firm again .

Good communication, and the price of the product was competitive. The delivery was a little late but on the day agreed and the guys were very efficient.
