Very friendly and helpful staff
Very friendly and helpful staff, large pitches, clean facilities. Right on the river and close to a bus station to go downtown. Traffic is audible in the distance, but didn't bother us. Definitely recommendable!

Royal Clarence Marina, Gosport - a great place to stay
We have stayed at Royal Clarence marina several times over the years on our trips along the South coast from the East coast. It is an excellent marina. Showers, etc are some of the best we come across. The berths are wide, well spaced, easy to turn into and clearly labelled. The staff are consistently cheerful and helpful. The berth holders are equally friendly. A very relaxed atmosphere.

I stayed on the Bath Marina caravan and motorhome site. It’s a lovely site in a great location for Bath or the train to Bristol.
The people who run the site couldn’t be nicer or more helpful

Help with Dutch barge wheelhouse
Aquavista gave excellent assistance to assemble Albert's wheelhouse which had been dismantled to pass under the low bridges on the Kennet & Avon. Very friendly and helpful people. Thank you very much. Much better response than Thames boatyards who all refused to help us with the same request.

Poor show from Aquavista totally…
Poor show from Aquavista totally uninterested in the sale. We still bought the boat because we liked it but the process was one of disinterest on their part . No personal touch at all. They didn’t even handover the boat just left us to it . They definitely didn’t deserve their commission.

Buying our very first Narrowboat
My wife and I had been trying to find a Narrowboat to buy for weeks. Having not found anything suitable, we decide to try Aquavista at Crick waterside Marina. Within a couple of hours we found our boat. The sales staff understood our needs, budget and that we were complete novices. They have done a tremendous job for us and are not only friendly but very professional and have helped and guided us all the way through the process's. We would like to especially thank Steve Love the broker who worked tremendously hard and helped us in many ways. We found him to be on top of everything and very knowledgeable. We also would be like to thank all the staff at the Marina. Crick Marina is a well run and beautiful location for any Narrow boater. I recommend them very highly.

Staying here for two weeks and it's fantastic!
The site is clean & quiet, set in a great location on the outskirts of Bath, beside the River Avon.
Very easy access from the main road.
Each pitch is set on hardstanding with a patch of grass & among lovely mature trees. All have EHU & some are fully
serviced.
Reception staff are very friendly.
Toilets & showers are plain & simple but are always very clean & warm.
There are great bus services from the road outside to Bath & Bristol.
The Boathouse pub is just 5 minute walk along the riverside path & serves nice food.
The riverside path is accessed from the site & well used by walkers, joggers & cyclists and can take you into central Bath.
Definitely recommend a visit to this site.

Visited Clarence Marina
Visited Clarence Marina, handy location, friendly helpful staff, great clean spacious and hot showers. Took the recommended visit to the nearby Powder Monkey micro brewery bar which had fab selection of beers.
It’s a shame the potential retail outlets remain empty, but that’s a minor.

Bath Waterside & Marina campsite
This review is for the Bath Marina campsite. It is by far the best placed campsite in Bath. It is both next to the park-and-ride, and also the old Bristol-Bath railway cycle path, and the river walk into Bath city centre. There are two good local pubs in a few minutes walking distance. All the pitches are hardstanding, some are bigger than others, and they all have EHU. The facilities are a little dated, but clean and adequate. They have been some recent changes on the customer service front, and this is most welcome, particularly regarding arrival time. Not the cheapest of sites, but it is a prime location.

Best place to stay for a visit or resident
I lived on packet boat marina for around 20 months, my first experience of boat life. I have enjoyed every minute of it I only moved on for a new adventure and I would hope to come back one day. My neighbours were lovely and the staff super efficient Ethan, Lemmi and Mirela are always ready to help and get things done when needed. Gary and Ray certainly know there stuff and are so helpful.
I have two cats and the fact that the rule is in place that dogs be kept on their leads is appropriate. No one wants dogs running all over the place and surely to clean up after your dogs is fitting.
I have been on my new marina for a few days now and they are not quite living up to packet boat as yet. I’ll give it time.
Yes, there were a couple of incidents on the marina and yes I think the management dealt with the situations appropriately. Staff are not there to be abused and intimidated by residents, dirty washing being chucked at young girls, not good. So good on ya packet boat, keep up the good work. Can’t thank you enough. 🥰

Aquavista=a ruthless profit hungry oorporation
Having spent over one year as a residential moorer I have a very clear picture of what Packet Boat Marina and the entire Aquavista are all about. Originally I was very excited to be admitted in as I heard the moorings are not an easy thing to get. Now I know that the boat rotation is so high there ( about 70% of ppl moved out within a year!) which is never a good sign and speaks volumes about what the place really is. Aquavista is a ruthless bank owed corporation focused soley on profit and not serving their high paying customers. They only care about raising the value of their business by raising mooring prices and getting new moorers who don't know their incompetence. The new brainless, heartless and chaotic new manager Ethan who sadly also manages Limehouse and Poplar Marinas made the place go down on dogs since he took over 8 months ago. He never replied important emails, sorts out current marina issues. Instead he uses his power to humiliate and kick out people without notice( but not the right people it turns out). Showers are still frequently flooded by the toilet and Elsan waste and stink all the time , car park gates continously broken allowing local teenagers drink on the carpark at night and allowing all sort of sham people to wonder nearby. Police visits are frequent events including a recent stabbing a fellow boater( currently in hispital having plastic surgery on his face as he almost lost his life being cut in the face and neck) by a dangerous marina dweller who was not removed after previously assulting a woman which was reported. Ethan also takes a liberty of removing boats without court order and blocks people's acces to their property by disabling the fobs(it also happened to us even tho we had agreed with him we can stay 2 weeks more to find new mooring after having our contract terminated in 24hr unlowfully). He also forced out previous competent staff to quit and replaced them with his mechanical minions to do all as he orders. They do an absolute minimum and hardly ever help by slapping you learnt formulas why they are unable to do sth.
Contracts with them are generally a big scam as you won't be given an exact amount you will be paying for( even tho I specifically asked to give me numbers). They lure you in to sign the contract based on old mooring fees and then raise number with your new contract. You sign then you get the numbers. Then be sure that the amount will go up by some £500/year immediately without properly notifying you about the change and it will happen every following year( it happened to us).
They will also cramp you in between the boats do you 'd be paying around £920- £1400/ month to watch your neighbour's windows and have no view at all unless you sign yourself onto an imaginary garden mooring waiting list that is only in the managers head and who gets best spot is only up to his descretion. Mooring fee was meant to have included laundrette.Turned out the original 2 credits per person/week were turned into 0 but due to a "glitch" in the system yet some could use 4 credits if knew how to. Last 6 weeks of my tenancy I had to pay full price which added average £100 per month to my expenses. We were eventually asked to leave after a supposed incident and yet marina management never properly investigated what happend and prove it was severe enough to terminate contract in 24hrs instead of 30 days. I was refused the CCTV recording and scripted report of the situation that my boyfriend was involved in based only on made up accounts of the biased marina staff (witness account was different). We were made to leave under procedural threats and after our access was blocked even tho we tried to get to the core of what happened and make it right in spite of multiple pleas and appeales to be granted at least our contracted 30 days leave. The Customer Service and senior management were manipulated by Ethan and never responded to any of my emails( we we only reveived short threats of what they'd do if we don't move out fast). After being ruthlessly kicked out in spite of being high paying residential moorers we found out that many people were mistreated like this while others paying only leisure fees and living there full time could do as they were pleased. We strongly don't recommend that place and urge to stay away from this toxic establisment unless you want to be overcharged and put under ton of stupid rules like Dogs must be on leads at all times and you must clean after them but cats can roam freely and poop on your boat! True story)
Kings marina, Newark
We stayed in Kings marina, Newark for 1 week whilst making a short visit home. What a great place beautifully kept gardens, friendly people and short walk to all facilities. On our list to return if back in the area.
