Complete scam

Complete scam. Stay away from this company!
They locked me into health insurance and the only way for me to move away was moving out of Germany. Complete scam

Exploiting Old People

Wow. I didn't even know that this kind of dishonesty even exists in times where customer support is top priority. How do they still have customers?

A "friendly" neighbor talked my not-so-good-german speaking dad into all kinds of policies and insurances; more than he needs.
When our water pipes broke, we paid too much because they made changes mid-contract which my father did not see and the "friendly" neighbor of course did not mention; of course they also increased the insurance money.

So now I'm trying to terminate the contracts but the letters get ignored; or I can't terminate some of them because they are in a bundle so you have to terminate all three together and not separetely...

I mean, everything they did was legal and I was stupid to not get a confirmation for my letters, I know that muich; but jesus, it feels like we're enemies instead of partners.

You'll lose in the long run with such dishonesty in this sensible area of business. Good luck!

EDIT: the "friendly" neighbor is of course an insurance broker of ARAG.

Very slow in reponding to clients, no pity for English-speaking clients

They're very good at deducting my monthly contribution but slow as hell in processing my requests and tickets. Each time I ask for something, it takes them a week or more to respond, even when I contact them by phone, which is supposed to be the quickest way to call them. And when they promise they'll respond ASAP or within a couple of days, it typically means within a week to 10 days.

Not to mention of course that for English-speaking expatriates matters even get worse, as it takes them double the time to find you someone who can speak English, be it a customer service agent or a partner consultant. I'm seriously thinking of swapping them for another legal protection insurance provider once my contract ends next year.
