Information provided by various external sources

ArcEquine is a remarkably small device that is wearable, drug free and non-invasive. It works by automatically generating a complex series of microcurrents with a simple, one finger operation. In fact, it delivers over 4.6 million permutations within a single programme to support the body’s own natural repair process. And just like naturally occurring microcurrents, they can’t be felt, so cause absolutely no discomfort to the horse whatsoever.

Suspensory injuries

Used with an ongoing suspensory ligament rehabilitation regime and very impressed with how much happier the horse is and speed in returning to full work. I’d recommend to anyone to try the Arc programme on their horse with or without an injury.... it’s amazing 🐴😊

Fantastic device

Fantastic device, my pony was noticeably more comfortable after just the first use having spent weeks on box rest for a ligament injury and struggling with her arthritis. With daily use, she is more willing to pick up her back feet and clearly more comfortable walking. I was so impressed I bought one for myself and found it significantly reduces the pain from a chronic tendon issue.

A vital piece of kit

When I started using the Arc I was a little sceptical because it doesn't make a noise and I hadn't seen it work on any other horses. However my horse has always had a slighlty puffy fetlock, I'd tried everything to get it to go down cold hosing, more turnout, badaging, being careful what surface I worked her on. Within a week her fetlock was back to normal size and has never gone back up. She is 18 now and has competed up to 3*, with regular use her legs look like a 5yr old's and the Arc has become a vital part of her management. I couldn't live without it!

The ArcEquine has been manufactured to the same standards as our Arc4Health. The Arc4Health has gone through the regulatory process to be a Class IIa medical device for pain, inflammation and tissue repair.
It's great to hear that it has helped with the fetlock swelling and I she continues to feel the benefits of the ArcEquine. You can use it every day, 365 days a year, if you wish.

ArcEquine / ArcHealth

I have been using ArcEquine for my aged horse with a hind leg reoccurring suspensory injury. I have used religiously for six months. She is due to be rescanned in the next few weeks and I am looking forward to receiving positive news. Also purchased the ArcHealth due to severe knee pain. After just four weeks of use I have noticed remarkable reduction in pain and mobility.

Hi Cally.

Thank you for your review and it's great to hear that you are all benefitting from the microcurrent technology.

Many owners of the ArcEquine have noticed the potential benefits of using the device on humans and have used them on themselves.

However, as a company we are not able to recommend the ArcEquine for this purpose.

This is because the ArcEquine has only ever been intended for use on horses and is not regulated as a medical device for human use. This is why we have launched the human version – the Arc4Health.

The Arc4Health has regulatory approval as a Class IIa medical device for pain management and tissue repair. Therefore, the Arc4Health is the only device that we are able to recommend for humans.

A must have bit of kit

After experiencing a slight loss in performance and dressage scores I had a vet work up which showed damage to the sesamoid bone and ligament as well as arthritic changes in the coffin joints and extensive bruising.

I could see a difference after completing the 6 week programme with Arc, but this was confirmed after we went back for 12 week scans and found that the ligament was healed, the bone was healed and bruising gone….sound again!

Healing beyond where we expected to be!

I now use the Arc several times per week as a maintenance and will continue to do so I’m the new year when I bring her back into full work.

I’d recommend this bit of kit to anyone!

Very long story but my new pony was…

Very long story but my new pony was diagnosed with a septic coffin joint in April 2020 and I was told by three different vets that there was no hope and that I would have to PTS. I contacted Ian and discussed a treatment plan and used the Arc as well as traditional antibiotics, laser therapy and the last piece of the jigsaw was the theraplate. The arc was used for months and I truly believe that this not only aided the healing process but also kept Daisys spirits up as she never failed or felt sorry for herself despite being lame for a long long time. After 18 months of treatment I managed to get back on top last weekend - something I didn’t ever dream off. Thank you to Ian - without all of his guidance and the Arc technology I’m sure daisy wouldn’t be here today.

Arc Equine Microcurrent…

I have been useing the Arc Equine Microcurrent since 2012. My horse damaged her near hind Suspensory Ligaments in September 2011. Nine months later she was not better and I met my neighbour who's horse had damaged his tendon one month before my horse. He was mended, fit and about to compete in qualifiers for HOYS. She explained it was due to AE. I duly emailed Ian Thirkell who immediately phoned me offering a loan of an ArcEquine. Eight weeks later she was healed. Many Thanks Ian Thirkell.

Skeptical, but wow!

I’ll happily admit that I was hugely skeptical of the Arc. My boy was diagnosed with arthritis in his neck and hocks and chronic bilateral hind psd. I was told he would need surgery and best case scenario I would get 2 years of soundness. I decided to give the Arc a go as I figured it couldnt do any harm. I followed the 6 week programme and the vet cannot believe it! In her words my boy looks ‘sensational’ the left suspensory now is completely normal on scans and the right has a very small mildly abnormal section. We have been given the all clear to bring him back into work and the vet is confident he wont need the op at all!

I am excited to see how it will benefit my horses health, it definitely helped wounds on the horses body heal quicker than I’ve normally found.

Brilliant bit of kit

The Arc Equine is a brilliant bit of kit. It has helped my horse recover from a tendon injury in her hock, it halved her recovery time. I'm also currently using it on myself, I'm recovering from a bad fall it's working wonders. I would thoroughly recommend buying one even if you don't need it at the moment. I don't know what I would do without it.

Chronic horse lameness & human injury

I bought this for my horse who is suffering with chronic lameness in one leg. This is not the only avenue I have gone down to help him with his pain and recovery and to maintain continued use of his affected limb, So I cannot say whether or not it is working for him but for certain, he has remained sound since using it. I can however vouch for my horse sharer who, following a fall and some bruising and damage to her hip, decided to use the device to wear herself. She has explained a profound sense of pain relief when wearing it. She continues to wear it six weeks after her accident on a maintenance program as she is convinced that it is helping her injury to remain settled.
Applying the device to the horse and keeping it on him is challenge however and there are some YouTube videos from other users who use different types of padding and bandages to ensure it stays in place. It would be good if the manufacturers could fashion a type of pocket for the device to sit in rather than hanging it off the strap where it can easily be stamped off.

Amazing little machine

I purchased an Arc equine as my horse was diagnosed with sesamoiditis that caused suspensory branch damage. I have been using it now for about 10 weeks and I can really notice a difference. He is a lot happier in himself and the swelling has reduced. The customer service is fantastic, my question were answered quickly and some great recommendations were made on how to make the unit work best for him. I would totally recommend to all my horsey friends.

What an amazing product

What an amazing product. My horse severely injured his pastern, spent 8 days at an equine hospital facility. Once he was home I incorporated the ARC equine into his recovery. I honestly thought the horse would never jump again and was told I would be looking at a minimum of 3 months before he could start walking in hand. After 6 weeks of using the ARC, it was quite clear that he was making a miracle recovery and within 3 months of the injury he is now back in full time work and fully recovered. Would highly recommend the ARC Equine.

i have used this therapy system many times, by people ive worked for in all disciplines, they all say the same thing, its amazing, its magic, its like a miracle etc etc, if i was a non believer im certainly not now. ive always been very open minded or at least tried to be, you have to listen to the people who use it. In my experience, its brilliantly fantastic. it doesnt hurt the animal, very discreet to wear and non invasive in every way. To make life easier for people who own horses with teeth, could do with a boot to contain the fragile pads but otherwise i love it.
