If you are looking for a NOISY spa
If you are looking for a NOISY spa the Coyote Laredo is the one for you.
When you turn pump #2 on and have the water flow diverter adjusted to 50% foot massager and 50% seats, it snaps, it crackles, and it pops (just like Rice Crispy’s!) . The diverter makes so much noise you can’t hear your tub mates but it is comfortable to the back and feet. The diverter can be made to be quite, you can get an anemic flow to the foot massager and a strong flow to the back OR you can adjust it to allow for a anemic flow to the back and a strong flow to the foot massager that hurts the feet (the water rises 10 inches above the water level and is so strong that it can be used as a foot rest). We were told by the service man that this loud noise is normal and that we were fortunate that the pump #1 water flow diverter was so quiet. For us this level of noise is unacceptable.
This tub has many nice features: foot massager, ozone, water fall, 2 shoulder massaging seats (if you are short enough to fit in them), the pumps shut off after 20 minutes, and is deep enough to cover you up to the neck. It is also very electrically efficient.
When the tub is filled per the instructions and pump #1 is on high the 2 shoulder massaging seat jets are above the water line and make a loud splashing noise. This is nice if you don’t want to talk to your other tub mates (you can turn off the 5 shoulder massaging jets on each seat, but who wants to do that to be able to hear).
Pump #1 controls one half of the tub (2 shoulder massager seats and one side seat) while pump #2 controls the other half of the tub (foot massager, water fall, 2 side seats and a corner seat). You can tell this spa is designed for the manufacturing process, not the owner. I wish that they would have had pump #1 control the small jets and pump #2 control the large jets, but they didn’t.
The Laredo is priced with the big boys but is only worth half the price because of the noise.
I should have gotten my hot tub from Costco.
I would not recommend this spa only because of the noise.
We purchased this spa from the Arctic Spas Vancouver
11700 NE 60th Way 3D, Vancouver, Washington U.S.A. store two months age. The manager of the service department came out and said that our noise was normal.
