This is a scam, stay away.

This is a scam, they will try their utmost to avoid talking normal bank language, they will never ever tell you the actual interest rate, instead they start pounding you with weekly costs, interest only periods, initial high payments for eight weeks and after that only a fraction. Interest rates of 2.24 percent, turns out to be per day. When you start putting in normal calculations, the ones real banks do, it turns out the interest is 73%. No doubt an employe of these people will be very quick to explain how wrong I am but i would be happy to upload the proposal they sent me.

As you can see I talked to them on April Fools Day, unfortunately this was not a joke.

Thank you for posting your feedback. We're genuinely concerned about this noted experience since it goes against everything we currently do at ARF Financial. Please send the proposal you received when you can so we can review with the Loan Consultant you spoke to. We are not a bank but we work with three community banks to offer bank loans. They are Mission Valley Bank, Timberland Bank and River Bank. These are published for transparency here: https://www.arffinancial.com/company/our-team/bank-partners/. The 73% rate is also not an ARF Financial rate that any of our bank partners would offer so we definitely need to see the proposal soon as you can send it. Thanks again for alerting us to this experience and we will work to resolve as soon as possible.

Experience with ARF Financial and the V.P.

UPDATE TO REPLY: Thank you for your response. I appreciate your insights and am fully informed regarding the matters you referenced. Please note that your broker identified LAF as a partner and made commitments on behalf of ARF. If you wish to discuss the specifics further, I am available for a private conversation. I would think as a lender misrepresentation would be of a significant concern. However, I prefer not to share these details in a public forum, as was done with my loan details.

I recently engaged with ARF Financial for a business loan, working directly with Megan (Vice President). Initially, I had a competitive offer from Lexington Capital Holdings, which provided ample funds for my business needs. However, I was persuaded by Megan to accept a smaller loan with the assurance that, upon closing, I would receive additional funds and a 1% rebate on the funds received.

After the loan closed, clear communication ceased regarding the promised additional funds and rebate. Despite multiple inquiries, weeks passed before I received a response. Ultimately, I was informed that I had missed the deadline for the additional funds due to delays in meeting requirements. The 1% rebate was eventually paid, but it arrived several weeks late.

Further complicating the process, Megan clarified after closing that the loan was not actually through ARF Financial but an ARF partner, contrary to my initial understanding. I was then told that to access additional funds, I would need to refinance the existing loan or wait three months.

This experience left my business in a challenging financial position. In retrospect, I believe accepting the original offer from Lexington Capital Holdings—a company with excellent ratings on Trust Pilot and Google—would have better served my needs.

Summary of Key Points:
• Promised additional funds and rebate were delayed or not delivered as expected
• Communication gaps and missed deadlines impacted funding
• Misrepresentation of loan origin created confusion
• Resolution options were limited and inconvenient

I hope this review helps other business owners make informed decisions when considering financial partners.

Update to Reply:
Please note our VP Megan tried several times to reach you about the experience detailed in this review. Your Broker who submitted your application to other lenders does not work for ARF Financial. Please reach out to him to discuss the details of the loan he negotiated from your lender.

Hi Steven,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that you feel disappointed with your experience, as providing a positive and transparent customer journey is very important to us.
After carefully reviewing our records, we’d like to clarify that your business loan application was not approved by ARF Financial because it did not meet our minimum qualifying criteria at the time of submission.
Following that decision, your referral broker submitted your application to another lender, where it was ultimately approved and funded. As a result, you do not currently have a loan with ARF Financial.
We encourage you to review your loan documentation to confirm which lender funded your business loan, as it was not ARF Financial.
If your business circumstances improve in the future, you are absolutely welcome to apply again. Our team would be happy to guide you through our concierge lending experience and reassess your eligibility at that time.
We wish you continued success with your business and appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention.

A real lending firm with my favorite word: INTEGRITY!

If you can't fund with ease and manage your client expectations, you need to fire yourself or get into another business. This company is more transparent than any other. Steve Ensworth, Andrew Matta, and Jose can triple task and still give brokers personal attention. Their box is so easy to find. Interest rates and programs are very attractive. The President of ARF Financial has even reviewed my files personally for exceptions when warranted. Treat them right and don't submit "garbage wood." They fund with common sense. No smoke and mirrors with this firm. Don't take all their time because it needs to be saved for Us Trust files. (light sarcasm.) Make your clients take another job, but don't let them default.
