this company have a mixed approach. in the first instance they were extremely unhelpful with the problem i was having for years with my bifold doors. when I went up the chain and got to the right person in management I received excellent support and a brilliant engineer named Razvan was sent to meet with my builder and myself. The engineer was excellent. The long standing problem was resolved. I am hopeful this will be the end of years of trouble with the doors.

They took £9k for order. all good until there was an issue.
2 tilt and turn mechanism went faulty. They agreed to send an engineer. They did not. Now issue has got worse As them for the parts now they refusing saying its out of warranty. But issue was there waiting the first year and they agreed to fix. No that person has left company just fobbing me off.
Third world service. They just have zero care. Customer service manager trying to be cleaver.

Never used this company or have I ever had any contact with them, however I have a problem when 1 of their vans have blocked my driveway access for 10 minutes, I have a H bar and a dropped kerb and one of their drivers completely obvious blocked access into my home, which is totally illegal and also shows their mentality and morals. Check picture. I also emailed the company but they never responded which is why I am leaving this review.

I had my unifold bifold doors fitted about a 6 months ago now and I have to say they are superb, The double glazing keeps the outside noise outside and when i want to open up my house to nature in the back garden the doors fold beautifully. Great quality

Horrible place, people in the office are extremely arrogant and unhelpful people

Arkay Windows of Watford supplied me with two sets of UniFold Bi-Fold doors via a local fitter.
The fitter was superb. The product not so good.
We live 30m from the sea, this was explained to Arkay and they recommended and supplied their doors with a Marine Grade paint finish. Within a month the doors showed signs of corrosion on the sharp edges of frames and in the corners where the metal was butt joined. Being super proud of my new doors I had washed them as soon as any sea spray got onto them, but this didn’t stop the metal corroding. Of course I informed the fitter and they went to no end of trouble to liaise with Arkay on my behalf. At first Arkay told us I must be “not washing the doors”. Then it was, “not washing them properly”. But I simply used a garden hose, clean fresh water and a mild soap such as you would use to wash a car. By the way, my new car has sat outside in the same weather conditions for the last year, gets washed once a month and shows NO sign of any corrosion.
We are currently still in discussion with Arkay who have now pushed this up to their supplier Cortizo. Cortizo windows and doors are supposed to be one of the best, which is why we chose Arkay.
But thats not all. When the doors were fitted we had to have three double glazing units replaced as one had a scratch on the glass and two had finger prints on the inside of the double glazing unit. Also one of the edges of the door has a chip out of it that someone had “touched up” with a spot of paint. Of course all these faults were picked up right away by the fitter and myself and we had replacements fitted pretty quickly. Lets hope they come up with a solution for the corroding paint!
Other than the above the doors work very well and look nice from the inside, so they get one star for doing what they should do as a matter of course.
