Avoid Armstrong’s Auckland – Dishonest Sales Tactics & Hidden Costs

Avoid Armstrong’s Auckland – Dishonest Sales Tactics & Hidden Costs
If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with this dealership has been a year-long nightmare. I purchased a brand new Leapmotor C10, and the lack of integrity from the sales team is staggering.

First, I was gaslighted about basic accessories; the car was delivered without mats, and I was told they 'would come later'—I chased for months - they are very good at making excuses. I was only given one key, and the dealership acted like they were doing me a 'favour' by ordering a second one that should have been standard.

Most shockingly, they charged me $499 + GST for a 'Wall Charger.' Every Leapmotor C10 comes with factory charging cables standard; I just noticed on an unsigned agreement they sent which means that - they essentially forced me to pay extra for equipment the car cannot function without. I brand new car had faulty battery and they took weeks to repair, then scratched my car and I had to fight so hard against gas lighting me that it again was my fault. Despite being promised a service plan at the time of sale, they are denying it exists and trying to charge me for my first annual service.

Check your contracts carefully—or better yet, go to a dealer that values honesty. Terrible customer service and a complete lack of after-sales support.
Do not buy from here.stay away.

What a wonderful company Armstrongs…

What a wonderful company Armstrongs Aggregates is. Today one of their drivers pulled up to help me at roadside. I am a disabled driver and I unfortunately broke down and was trying to move my car solely to the side of the road to prevent any taffic jams. The driver got out and pushed my car with me in it and then asked if there was anything he could do to help. I had called the AA but I just wanted to say a big thank you to this driver, I just know his name to be Dave. People are so quick at giving bad reviews that good ones go a miss.

Bad experience with Armstrongs

A very large Armstrongs vehicle delivering aggregate to a neighbouring property decided to use the area outside my house as a turning circle. The track, verges and green area (which is, by the way, private property and clearly marked as a public bridleway on which it is a criminal offence to drive) were mangled by this juggernaut. My complaint to Armstrongs was met with evasion and obfuscation and an unwillingness to acknowledge responsibility in spite of clear CCTV evidence. For a company of Armstrongs size to behave in this shabby way speaks volumes about Armstrongs’ ethos and attitude. Customers should be aware (beware!) of what they can expect in the event of a problem with Armstrongs Group.
