Buying my Kia Sportage GT Line from Arnold Clark Salford was a brilliant experience from start to finish. I reserved the car on Friday night, went in for a test drive on Saturday, and by Sunday I was driving it home. Everything moved quickly, smoothly, and without any stress.

Mohammed looked after me on the Saturday and talked me through the test drive and the finance side. He was clear, helpful, and made the whole process feel easy.

On Sunday, I was handed over to Samuel, who was completing his first official sale — and he was absolutely fantastic. He went through the final details with me, made sure everything was spot on, and genuinely couldn’t do enough to help. His enthusiasm and professionalism really stood out, and he made the handover feel special.

The car has been amazing, and the whole team at Arnold Clark Salford made the experience enjoyable from beginning to end. I’ll definitely be returning in the future.

Great customer service throughout very helpful and professional

From the first time on the forecourt where the manager came out to give us a clip board and pen to write down reg numbers, to the help, knowledge and understanding of our product consultant Adam, we felt listened to and supported. The cars are arranged so it is easy to look round and they also have QR codes on each vehicle to find out more info. All the cars were clean and priced. There was no baffling us with figures or trying to sell us any hidden items. We would thoroughly recommend Arnold Clark Chesterfield.

The salesman Cameron was very helpful, polite and knowledgeable. They didn't have the car in stock in the colour I wanted, but they swiftly sourced it from a different branch without a fuss and it was available two or three days later. The Arnold Clarke App made the paperwork quick and easy, and provides a record of services and when they are due.

It was a great experience when we visited Arnold Clark. The sales agent did not fuss around us when we were looking at the cars. We selected a number of cars and the sale agent was ace. Looked at all the cars and explained the car details. Due to the agent and all the.time the agent was with us we order a car from them. We have had no issues and they made is so easy to the point of us picking the car up.

I would definitely recommend BYD in Stirling James our sales guy was excellent couldn’t fault them from picking the car to picking it up the following week !

Went to our local branch to see a used car. Salesman was friendly and dealt with everything fine but a bit disappointed with the trade in as it was well below the online assessment. But the new car didn't really suit so went a bit further afield. Salesperson at second branch wanted us to sign paperwork "so the car would be ready when we went down" instead of letting us put a reserve on the car until we could get down to see it. Also added in price of paintwork, upholstery protection as well as warranties and servicing, MOT's. Ended up not having a clue what was going on so asked for the figures to be sent through so we could check. The link did nothing but direct to their web page or app. No figures to be found.

After having other conversations with him he wanted us to take photos of our car. We did this but then he told us he was going to use the evaluation from the other Arnold Clark we visited as he couldn't see the damage the other salesperson had put down. This was because the other sales person had put down non existing damage to 2 panels. We have 2 small stone chips on the rear boot but that is all (£75 repair at chips away) so that is the reason it was marked down at the first branch but to make matters worse the new guy actually took another £300 off the trade in. Then after going through the figures with him again he had actually added £1000 to the advertised price of the car we were buying.

Due to all this we decided to leave it. We did get a follow up text from the first branch but after telling them what happened they just closed the conversation with no acknowledgement or anything.

Just reminded me why it's been 10 years since we bought anything from them.

In all honesty other dealers are doing the same cars with same mileage for less as well as better trade in prices so I would look about before plumping for these people.

Always bought my cars from Arnold Clarkes,no hassle or interference when looking round. And the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

I had the best experience at Arnold Clark. Everything went smooth and efficient from the get go. I went in on the Tuesday evening to have a look at new cars and by the Friday my car was ready for pick up. I would like to thank Osama Ahmed for making this experience easy for me throughout as it’s always nerve wracking buying a new car.
