Snowsports professional for 17+ winters
I have worked in the snowsports industry worldwide since 2008. I have used this company 3 times recently, but so far never needed to use them in an emergency. On my last trip to Australia for snowboarding, my visa was delayed by a month. As i had used them a few times and intended to do so in the future, i asked them to be more personal and figure a discounted price for the delay before my final departure date. They have been unresponsive after telling me that they would find a solution. I have contacted them since and got no response. If i CANNOT get responses with just regular dealings, I feel INCREDIBLY UNSAFE AND UNSECURE to have to rely on them for an actual emergency.

Rescued while attempting Lobuche east peak
An unfortunate event that occurred during our attempt to summit Lobuche on November 6, 2023. My Wife Aakansha & I - Ankur, embarked on the climb from Lobuche High Camp in the early hours of that day.
Around the midway point of our ascent,I suffered a knee injury, compelling us to make the difficult decision to abandon the summit attempt and initiate our descent. We began our descent at approximately 4 am, and by 6:30 am, we returned to Lobuche High Camp. Recognizing the severity of the situation, we immediately sought to contact both our insurance provider, ASC 360, and our tour operator, Himalayan Wonders, to request assistance for the rescue operation.
The communication devices available at Lobuche High Camp were non-functional. The radio phones were not working, and the absence of a mobile cell network further complicated our efforts to establish contact. Fortunately, we were informed by a local cook at the high camp that there might be a possibility of mobile network reception on a nearby peak.
With my porter and climbing guide, my wife ascended to the nearby peak, and around 11 am, we established communication with ASC 360 and Himalayan Wonders. We provided them with the details of the incident, including the nature of the injury, our location, and the need for an immediate rescue.
The rescue operation, coordinated by the respective teams, was initiated, and we are thankful to Anshul and the team ASC! Around 3 pm, we were rescued from Lobuche high camp, and were transported to Lukla, from where we checked into our lodge.

Helicopter evacuation
Very good service! I fell sick at Everest Base camp, I called their emergency number in Nepal and their doctor recommended some medication and supplementary oxygen as my oxygen was 58. Next morning at 6.30am, I was evacuated to Lukla and then to Kathmandu hospital. I was discharged after one day of hospitalisation. ASC company took good care of me. I recommend them to all my trekking and climbing buddies.
