BOOK THROUGH THE NHS APP ( COMPLETELY FARCICAL)

Book through nhs they say
I did and was offered an appointment between 2pm-330pm ????
Because I work I couldn’t attend any of these times
Sooo I phone the surgery only to be told BOOK THROUGH THE NHS APP ?
Am I missing something as I already had and just wanted to rearrange a new appointment
BOOK THROUGH THE NHS APP seemed to be the only response
What happened to face to face appointments I was offered a telephone consultation which I find is unsuitable for the time I had no choice but to accept

Farcical booking process

Trying to booking an appointment is farcical.
They only allow you to do so online between 07:00 and 15:00 yet they is no explanation of why this isn't available 24 hours a day. They only allow to book for that day, if there are no slots available you have to repeat the process the next day. You cannot book an appointment for next week. If you try to ring them up they tell you to book online.
This is not efficiency, this is an absurd waste of patient's time.
