Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 141 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers found the website to be full of fake profiles, bots, and scammers, making it difficult to connect with real people. They frequently reported being bombarded with messages and requests that quickly led to attempts to move conversations off-platform to apps like Telegram or WhatsApp, which users identified as a tactic by scammers. The pricing structure was a major point of dissatisfaction, with many feeling that the cost for credits was exorbitant and that the site was designed to quickly deplete their funds without providing genuine connections. Additionally, some users experienced difficulties with payment processing, leading to frustration and the need to cancel credit cards. Some people were dissatisfied with the customer support, reporting unresponsiveness when trying to address issues like missing credits or suspicious activity. Conversely, a small portion of people felt that with effort and a compelling profile, it was possible to find meaningful discussions and even meet partners, though this often required significant time and strategic engagement.

Where do I even begin

Where do I even begin? This is a safe haven for crypto and bitcoin scammers. The women will make you feel there is a connection between you and her.

While you and her are chatting, they will continue to introduce their lavish and expensive lifestyle. They will provide you with reports of their crypto trades. They will slowly entice you to trading. I’ve had a conversation with two gals for in two separate occasions for 3 weeks before I was given a choice: trade or go away. Once I made my choice, I had not heard from them again.

Save your money.

A Once-Great Website

This used to be a great adult dating website. Years ago I went here and found a FWB. This time around, no such luck, as most profiles are fake. The female profiles mostly have a lack of material that would entice a man to contact them. I've offered suggestions for improvement, but no reply. They used to reimburse your credits when you spent them on what turned out to be a fake profile, but when I've asked for reimbursement, the replies I've gotten seem to be stylized and bot-like, completely ignoring my requests. I cannot recommend this site unless changes are made to provide better customer service and get rid of bots more easily.

It's a racket

It's a rip off. I live in a small town in upstate NY. Found little within a 60 mile radius. Most of the profiles appear to have been inactive. What messages I did get were from other states. Pricing for this racket is outrageous. No refunds of course.

Way too many fake accounts

Way too many fake accounts. I tried it for a couple weeks, with zero success. All the women on there try to get you to use different sites, so they can charge you just to talk to them. It is also too expensive.

BURN YOUR MONEY INSTEAD.

This app is the most blatant rip-off in the cybersphere. In a week’s time I have received thousands of bot-generated messages, but ZERO legitimate replies. ZERO customer support, and no way to reach the so-called “site team”.

Possibly real people but not real intent

The people appear to be real at first, but the English text appears to change as if a bot was writing it. All the people I met here wanted me to put money in crypto or other fake investment types. The cost is very high as they charge for every alphabet letter you type and profile you open. Price is not a factor if people were real but I haven't found a person that didn't want some form of money off of me.

When it comes to this company

When it comes to this company, the question should be asked, what's been right about it. Should you try to to get intouch with customer service, all you go through is a sadistic circle. An AI system goes nowhere. With this said, their filter system is a joke. Let just say you are looking for people between the ages of 66-50. You also state you are only looking for people within a one hundred mile range. The system consistently comes back and says there's no one within that range. So now it turns and want you to preview people as young as twenty years old and people as much as 300 miles away. I couldn't tell you in an average week how many people I received "winks" from that are only kids. I live in Dublin, Georgia. I received some as far as Canada, and if I remember correctly, one from New Mexico or Arizona, as well. The ones that are close to your on age, 99% of the time don't write back. Two people wrote me and said that you didn't write a full page. What they meant by that I couldn't tell you. However, what I have stated so far is not even the worst case scenario. If you ask for me to give you a number, I couldn't. But I can guarantee you, it's more than two or three dozen. People primarily between the ages of forty-three and thirty-eight... I couldn't tell you from the beginning even up to now how many people I deleted their accounts only for them to show back up again a week or so later. If this doesn't tell you company employees doing this nonsense, then what does? In other words, if you delete someone, how do they show back up on your account a week or so later? So I started blocking them altogether; but why should I have to do such after removing their request from my account? This nonsense is still going on as I write this! As for you people looking for a dating site, pass this one by. In fact, unfortunately, you'll fine that majority of these dating sites are not worth your time at all! AM, you can delete my account. I won't be coming back!

If I could give this site a "0" I…

If I could give this site a "0" I would. Don't waste your money. It is a ripoff and refuses to refund any money when you have a "0" credit balance which came from fake profiles (probably initiated by them) and scammers. Definitely will not be back. Believe me DON'T waste your money here.

Ashley Madison CESSPOOL FOR SCAMS AN EXTORTION

Ashley Madison. A CESSPOOL FOR SCAMS AND PROSTITUTES AND BLACKMAIL.
This website, despite its 9.7-star Google rating, appears to be a hub for scams, prostitution, and blackmail. A significant portion of responses—estimated at around 80%—come from individuals posing as escorts or scammers who quickly push conversations to platforms like Telegram.
Once there, they often claim to be visiting your area and attempt to lure users into recorded video calls. These recordings are then used for extortion, with threats to release explicit content unless payment is made.
Another common scheme involves individuals presenting themselves as “models” who direct you to communicate via Telegram or WhatsApp. They then ask you to contact a supposed manager under the pretense of ensuring their safety—this is typically where fraudulent credit card requests begin. Exercise extreme caution!

In 2015, Ashley Madison was hit with multiple class-action lawsuits ($578 Million) following a massive data breach by a group calling itself the "Impact Team". Hackers breached the site in July 2015, releasing sensitive user data (including names, emails, and credit card details) in August after the company did not meet demands to shut down.
The report is on Wikipedia.

This site is a total rip off

This site is a total rip off. I’ve had people change their location or want to go to a chat app off onto a the AM site to scam me. Try to get me to buy crypto try to get me to send the money even people who have profiles that sound like they’re legit suddenly change. I will say based on my age I’m older for the site over 55. I think this is mostly for people in their 30s and 40s but still in two months and spending over $200. I’ve gotten absolutely zero of anything close to what I’m looking for or to even have a conversation.. what could you do to make a site better? I think there has to be some serious screening or there has to be some kind of a compensation for male members who run up against what I did with nothing but scams and fake profiles. Beware and don’t waste your money.!

Too many winks to be real

I am convinced that the site is corrupt. Men receive scores of winks etc. from profiles that are all startlingly similar with little or no individualized description. These are most likely generated by AM itself to induce men to buy credits to respond.

EXTORTION Well when they say don't go off site…

Well when they say don't go off site they mean it. I had a girl that was 28 and I even asked if she was really 28 she said yes im really 28. Then after some steaming video sex off site on Signal. she had recorded me sent it back to me said she was a minor and tried to extort me. Instead of getting scared I went and filed extortion charges. PuppyEyesForYou34. STAY AWAU FROM HER. OR ANYONE FROM CLEVELAND WITH A TEXAS PHONE NUMBER CALLING THEMSELVES NANCY
